Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I've noticed that a bunch of people are posting stories over in the Creative thread, and so I'm curious. How many of you people on this forum actually do a lot of writing? Or, phrasing it another way: how many of you people would consider yourself "writers?" I'm an avid writer of fiction and have been at it since a very young age, so I was just curious about you all.
Cheers.

I tried to be one, but lot of forummers discouraged me, you can find my fics in http://fanfiction.net
This is a false statement.

I do write, but I keep the stories secret or under another name. If I didn't play EE I would do much more.
Thank you eleizibeth ^

I am a writer, but haven't written anything meaningful in a while. I've been doing more reading than writing. I will be picking up my writing again though, because I am taking a creative writing course this semester in college.
I haven't written in a really long time, unless you count school projects. I did a school project near the end of school with my friend, which was to write a children's book for a specific child, who we met beforehand and found out their interests, hobbies etc. After finding out stuff about them we had to write a story that they would enjoy. The story wasn't that great but I guess it's difficult to write a book for children that is good yet isn't too difficult for them to understand. Also I illustrated the book myself, which didn't turn out great. After we finished it, we had to visit the child and read it out to them. Though, he seemed to like it.
There's a story which I started years ago on these forums called The Advena. I actually continued to write more than what was posted on the forums on a word doc. I even finished it and started to plan a sequel, because the story wasn't quite over. But now when I look at it, it wasn't that good. The concept and storyline was lovely but it wasn't written that well. I could rewrite it but eh. I was thinking of making it as a game actually, but I think that's a large task for me, and writing it would be much easier. I made some music that could fit with the game, which was fun even though I probably won't make the game. I also made sprites. These things probably won't ever be used but they're fun to make.
I was actually planning on writing a short story during the summer but never did. I'll at least start that soon.

I've never been much of a writer, I get really distracted and the story plots get twisted so much. Even so much as writing an about me thing is a struggle. Just got so much going on in my mind
I'd like to become more of a writer, but no time.

I have some excellent ideas for stories, but I usually end up procrastinating and keep thinking of ideas for them. One of these ideas are related to Everybody Edits that I may end up releasing soon if I feel like it.

By the time I will finish with ABVE it will be the size of an average book. It will probably contain over 40k or 50k words. Originally I wanted it to become a short story but shortly realised it was becoming too large after I passed the first 20k words.
If only I put so much work into school >.>
Also after I finish ABVE, I will rewrite it on the forum to fix names, spelling and such. And I might consider making it into an actual book although I wouldn't really know which audience I would be targeting.
