Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Does size matter?

World size, that is.

Do you think good levels have to be created in a capacious world? If so, what is your "minimum requirement" for a world size? Large world? Massive? Do you think there is a "perfect" size for a world?

On the contrary, do you believe phenomenal levels can be made in a 25×25 block space? Perhaps even smaller? What's the best world you've seen in such a size? Do you think there is a maximum requirement for worlds before they become too spacious?

Well.. If done right, any level can be amazing. It just depends on the type, art and mini's of the level.

Re: Does size matter?

Of the same level of skill put into the world

Bigger is better than smaller.

But, sometimes long worlds do go on a bit, the HQ world goes on for about 2 hours and you complete the same challenges over and over and maybe a world like this but you only complete challenges once might be better; all a matter of opinion but I think generally bigger is better.

Re: Does size matter?

It depends on what it is. I have a key boss in a 50x50 space that I think works pretty well. I generally use 200x200 levels, and I notice I run out of them often, and have a few 400x200 empty worlds, so I think 200x200 is a pretty good size.

Re: Does size matter?

I didn't meet anybody to complain my sizes.
Edit: Size dosent matters it's just how you use it. I mean you can make a good minigame in 25 x 25.

Re: Does size matter?

Massive and Greats are the only good sizes. I do however believe that with enough skill at planning and building, any world size can become a home to an amazing level. The smaller the world is, the harder it is to make something good, even though there is less time spent building.

Re: Does size matter?

My favorite world type is 400x50. My top 3 most played worlds are all wide worlds. I like making my worlds go from left to right.

Re: Does size matter?

Size doesn't play a part in how good a world is, it just plays a part in how hard it is to make the world. I have been working with 200x200 worlds for a while, but I hope to get back into making 400x200 worlds after I finish my series, because those worlds are a lot of fun to make and it's been such a long time since I've made one.

Re: Does size matter?

I like large worlds, because you can build a large world in one day. Mediums are nice too, but I think they're a bit too small. I don't think I have ever finished a great world I have started building, I always become too lazy to continue //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue

Re: Does size matter?

25x25 haha! suck it!

But yeah, I don't have enough imagination or creative for anything over 400x50/100x100
So 25x25 ftw cuz I can finish it in like 1 hour of good work, and have a decent enough level if I make it a series or a continuation. Also, I have a LOT of woots in my 25x25's compared to my bigger worlds D:

Summary:
Other peoples worlds: 100x100, 400x50, perfect, maybe 200x200. Others generally I don't like. Still haven't come across a DECENT space world either, gonna try and make one myself. INCREASE THE POPULARITY!

Making my own worlds: 50x50, 25x25 are good. 100x100 and 400x50 for bigger worlds. The bigger worlds I dislike using, although I have a lot of spare

Re: Does size matter?

Huge worlds have just been released. Dimensionally, this is the largest world we've had yet. Does anyone need such "huge" world?

Hey, at least we now have taller worlds to work with (except the Beta tall worlds, but those are almost non-existent now).
