Can't log into EE through Facebook, can play on FB site (do not want)

This is fustrating me way more than it should.

So, my EE account is linked to facebook. It always has been. I rely on facebook to play EE. I cannot change this because Chris is too lazy to let me have a normal account.

I recently was forced to get Timeline on facebook. I edited my privacy settings a bit. I did not remove or otherwise tamper with the Everybody Edits application on facebook.

Whenever I go to the everybody edits site -- beta or no, I click 'log into facebook' (NOT 'Play on Facebook'!)

Normally, this would log me in and I could play EE on the main (or beta) site.
But now, I get this error:

An error has occured. Please try again.

That's it.
That's all I get.

So, a day passed and I was screaming because of the recent update because I needed to spend my energy.

And then, I'm on facebook.
And on the side, under apps, I see it.

Everybody Edits.

I click it.
I'm logged into EE! I can spend my energy!
I go to play a level in a mad, excited rush!

HOLY HELL IS IT LAGGING.

EE's pretty much unplayable on the facebook site. It makes me very sad.

And so I said, 'Wow, I'm going to go through my worlds for another post'

so then I finally got around to making this post.
TL;DR
I want to play EE on the site but have to play it on facebook, much to my dismay.
I can be playing EE on facebook and go to log in on the beta or normal site and it still won't work.

I do NOT want someone to tell me that I'm stupid or a nub for using facebook to play EE.
I do NOT want someone suggesting me to ask Chris because we all know that's not going to happen.
I do NOT want people saying, 'Wow, I don't have this problem but good luck.' That doesn't help me at all, and I'll be tempted to report you for spam.

I either want someone telling me they have the same problem, OR someone offering me some advice or otherwise a solution, because this is causing me some serious stress.

Solution: Make a normal account?
