Can't retrieve old account

When It's supposed to send a new password to my email this comes up.

Could a mod or someone PM me my password or something so I can get back onto ILoveBacon?

Nobody can PM you your password, because we don't have it. We can change your password all you want, but passwords are hashed so we can't read them. You'll have to wait until email is fixed.

Why would it really matter on a small forum like this? Who would want my account?

You know, sending them a PM on the forums directly with a new password is more secure than sending it through email, considering email is unencrypted by default and likely will go through many more systems and cloud backup solutions in order to keep the email maintained. =P

Also, very difficult to spoof an IPv4 address and it wouldn't do much good to have access to someones forum account, if anything goes wrong, there's backups.
