Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Avatar File Size

Well, I think 20KB is too small. I suggest making the maximum avatar file size 40KB-50KB. That way, my tiny, 6 frame, 90x90 (hopefully) soon-to-be avatar will fit. It's not too large pixel wise, and it's only 6 frames. Why not extend the limits?

Re: Avatar File Size

That one, in fact, is less than 40KB, but I think 50KB is a reasonable maximum.

Re: Avatar File Size

Is it possible to reduce the number of colors used? Maybe you can knock the filesize down to 20KB in exchange for some of the image quality.

Re: Avatar File Size

Thanks toke. I looked for a way to slash some colors off but couldn't find anything. Can you give me the site/download you used?

Why does everyone use url tags instead of img tags to display images?
I like this one better, it doesn't have the same start and end frames, causing it to 'pause' there for a little.

For the site? Right click, copy image location.

To save it? Right click, save image as.

I don't exactly see how you got from quote 2 to quote 1, but whatever.

And jad, no one uses url instead of img, but when you quote a post it automatically changes img to url. Saves space when quoting.

Re: Avatar File Size

Thank you, Different. You can just flip dem url tags with img tags and that'll do yer trick.
