How do you make the picture show and not the link?

Erase the url, only leaving the image tags.

There, I already did it for you.

The URL ImageShack provides is a redirect to their website that features the image and not the image itself. This causes the compiler to get confused and not show anything at all.

I fixed your sig. The problem was that your link was not an image, it was a web page. The img tag doesn't show pages. To get the URL of the image, you have to right click the image and click Copy Image Address. Then paste that between the img tags.
