[New] Forum Competition 2013

In the distant past, TakoMan02 had created a competition unlike any other.
A competition that separated the fierce forumers from the pathetic posters.
Although the previous thread is long gone, the unprecedented competition is a legend, and was far from unsuccessful.
Now, a new competition is being held.
A competition that only hopes can have the same success as the old one.
The New, Revamped Forum Competition.

Yes, that is right, folks. A new competition is being held through the duration of the summer. This competition is not only intended to create a fun experience for old and new forumers, but also to encourage friendly and rule-abiding behaviour on the forums. Continue reading this post to find out all you need to know about the competition. (NOTE: I will not be participating in this competition to prevent cheating or bias.)

General Rules
From Friday, the 28th of June to Friday, the 12th of July (two weeks), signups will be held.
Simply post on this topic to signup for your desired position. Any format works, as long as I know what position you want.
There are two positions that one may sign up for: A master, or a member. Here are the basic descriptions of both:
Master wrote:
-Must be a bona fide member of the forum community.
-Will award points to other teams, but not their own team.
-Encourages their team to participate
-Cannot be awarded points
Member wrote:
-Should have at least 50 posts (I'll be lenient, though.)
-Are main contributors to team points
-Are encouraged to participate and be active on the forums
-Can be awarded points
You may ask to sign up for either position here, however I have the right to decline you. (You will more than likely not be declined as a member, however I will be picky about the masters.)

From Friday, the 12th of July to Friday, the 2nd of August (three weeks), the actual competition will be held.
As soon as signups finished, I will randomly select teams. There will be three teams, and each team will have six members.
Each master will be assigned a team to lead, and each member will be assigned a team under a master. Once assigned a team to lead (as a master), or participate in (as a member), you will have separate goals. Members should actively participate in these forums (NOT spamming), and depending on the significance, relevance, eloquence, or any other factor that a master likes about your post, you could be awarded points. If you are awarded points, those points will add to your team's grand total for the week. At the end of the week (Thursday), whichever team has the LEAST amount of points will be ELIMINATED, and the competition will continue with one less team. So make sure you make plenty of decent (again, NOT spam or irrelevant) posts!
How Points Will Be Divided wrote:
Each master will have a total of 1,000 points to give away in a week. From Friday to Wednesday of each week, a master will PM me the amount of points they will give to individual members. If the master does NOT use up all of their total points to give away, they will be divided evenly amongst the teams to prevent cheating. A master may NOT give points to anyone on their team, of course, to prevent bias. Also to prevent bias, the points awarded will not be published until Thursday of that week, where there will be an MVP (most valuable player), that has been awarded the most points for that week. Both (two) MVPs will contend at the end for a runner-up prize (unless of course the MVP is the winner). This means that you must try extra hard to get points!
From Friday, the 26th of June to Thursday, the 1st of August (six days), the last standing team will be split apart. All of the former masters and members (including the master of the last standing team) will vote for the member AND for the MVP that they want to be victorious!
On Friday, the 2nd of August (last day!), whomever has been chosen as the best member will be crowned the winner of Forum Competition 2013! And whomever has been chosen as the best MVP will be the runner-up.
First-prize will receive three +Reps from me, their name in illustrious font at the top of this thread, (and any other prizes that the community is willing to donate?)
Runner-up will receive two +Reps from me.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Where do I post and what do I post about? Post anywhere in the forums about whatever the topic is. The masters will peruse the different categories and topics and read your posts. Pretty much just use the forums like normal, and you will be rewarded for it!
How many members do you hope to have? If I could get exactly 25 members, I would be a happy camper. It would divide evenly and make things work out well.
If I apply as a master, and do not make it, will I end up being a member? Yes, more than likely. I don't have time to sort out all of that stuff.

Hm, after much deliberation, debilitation, and critical thinking, I'd like to be a master. A Pokemon master. (although I'm still debating on it, but I guess it'll be too late once I post this.)
Also, this could still be cheated: A master conspiring with another team or something. Co-conspiring. Like... Crowley and Castiel or something, but without the leviathans. Or god-stiel. You get my drift? Like master x could be friends with member semi-colon (I blame the fact that it's 4 am for the silliness of this post) who is on a different team and the master could give them a lot of points for no reason. We'd have like, under the table deals. Like the mafia or something. Master y could be all hey master x I'll give your team points if you give my team points. Although maybe mentioning this is only going to give people ideas, but I'm sure anyone reading this is too GOOD-HEARTED and FAIR to do anything like that and shatter my faith in humanity and this community, RIGHT?
