Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

How do you put a gif as a signature?

I have seen lots of people with gifs as signatures. I got one as a profile picture, but I don't know how to put it as a signature. :/

Simply use
[img]your gif url[/img] in your signature
Make sure the link ends in .gif
And i think (i havent done it myself...) that should work... ^?^

You can just go onto imgur and then upload your gif and by the side it will have a forum bb code which you can copy and paste into your signature. Or just search on Google 'gif uploading site'.

I personally use http://gifmaker.me/. .apng files are very good for animated pictures, but are not very well known, and as a result, not many browsers support.

Re: How do you put a gif as a signature?

There seems to only be fragments of the answer here,

If the GIF is on your harddrive:
• Go to imgur click upload images
• Locate or drag your GIF onto the screen and click Start Upload
Continue on with the next section below

If you have found the GIF online:
• Right click the image and click Copy image address
• Return to eeforumify
• Click on Profile then Personality
• In the second panel titled Compose your signature click the grey box
• Type

[img][/img]

• Paste the image address you have between the tags

[img]http://i.imgur.com/O5nTp0F.gif[/img]

• Click Submit

You now have a GIF in your Signature box!
