So now that we have two layers, there should be a block that switches the background with the foreground. As in, turns transparent walk through bricks into real hard bricks you can stand on and vice versa. Lots of nice possibilities there I think. Smilies that are in the background from your perspective should be faded and translucent like the rest of the background.
Cool idea
Pretty awesome idea, but with this making foreground blocks and background blocks should be with layers, too (not just other type of blocks, if you understood).
