Forumer-Only Smiley

Basically, just a smiley that only users registered on the forum can buy.   It should be user-created, and we could all vote on it, first smiley to 1000 votes wins.   You have to click a link in a members-only category/forum that only registered users can see (just like the postman was for newsletter recipients).   It can cost 1000 or 1500 energy.   Questions or comments?

Too much work for the admins and it will likely create spam to boost your postcount.

Yeah, you're right, but the Ultimate Fan Smiley required some work, too... And the post count requirement isn't necessary, only the +REP is.

I don't think there should be requirements, other than being registered here and maybe having more than one post.

It could be done by if you contributed to the forums and are helpful, you get the smiley. # of posts doesn't work because I could just spam forum games (like brawler700) and get 2000 posts. # of reps doesn't work either because I could make lots of random proxy accounts and give me lots of +reps.

Like I said, just one or two posts should be necessary, rep shouldn't be a factor.   The only thing you should need to do is to have an account here and clicking on a link that only registered users can see.   That way, it's no more work than the postman smiley was, and certainly less work than the Ultimate Fan.

I thought that he said he's not against it, he just doesn't like most of it.   He said that he'd like to implement a couple of user ideas, like Glitcherkid's umbrella stick/summer package idea.

Nice idea! It should work like how the postman smiley does.
