Transparent glass block

TL;DR:

It's basically a way to make background blocks solid.

It would be cool if we could have a glass block that is transparent and we can stand on it, and see the background behind it at the same time. Also, now, that backgrounds are visible, it may could have the ability to brighten the background's color on the minimap. This way it can be used to create more detailed art.

No, Not secret, a normal glass block-like texture but the colors are replaced with transparency

You beat me to it. I was gonna suggest this. There should be a way to tell if there was a glass block there, maybe just a shadow (to make challenges with, but to make it possible to win them)

Like real glass, and it could make the background a bit of a different color depending on the color of the transparent glass block.

That doesn't make sense, you can't see something that is transparent. Did you mean translucent?

Yeah, translucent would be better...Or maybe just like real glass, transparent with only a few smudges to distinguish it?

I think there should also be another version of this that is like a decoration and you can go behind it.

I actually didn't tought this idea is that good, it just keeps popping into my mind every time and I came here to suggest it.

No it doesn't.

Transparent is when almost all light passes through something. (All light is impossible, however, there are contraptions that bend the light around something to make it look invisible.)

Translucent is when around half the light passes through.
