Orange Basic and Beta Bricks, and Beta Backgrounds -- WHY WE NO HAVE?

One day I was playing EE, and who cares the world I was playing in. Well, I got the code, and I started to make my name. And I was like, "WHY WE NO HAVE BETA BACKGROUNDS?" 'cause I really needed them at that point and time. And then there were the orange blocks. So, naturally, I'm like, "Geez, I'd email Chris, but that email link is only for TECHNICAL ISSUES."

WHY hasn't anyone thought of beta backgrounds (from what I've seen)?
WHY don't we have the orange basic and/or beta bricks yet?

Bacause they would be included in beta, and that doesnt generate exta money
