Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I have a few questions about in-game mods. I am just curious so yea.
1. How do you picked to be an in-game mod? Are you hired or do you get picked?
2. Do in game mods get payed, or do you do it because you are a really nice person.
3. If you were ever going to make a new mod, how would you go about picking them?
4. What exactly do you do in the game besides attract people to levels and look pretty?
and lastly (completely un-related)
If I put energy toward an item, then I decided I wanted to get it with gems instead, would my energy I already put toward it be lost? Or would it go toward my next purchase??
Thanks-Fail

1) Picked. I don't see why they would pay you to do such easy work.
2) No-pay.
3) Probably a vote amongst the admins and igm's, but with Jakery's promotion it wasn't so.
4) They close inappropriate levels and kick people
5) Your energy would be lost.
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

The FAQ here will answer most of your questions. An in-game admin would have to answer the others, I'm afraid.
What Cyclone forgot to include in that sticky is that they secretly play eeny-meany-miney-mo to pick the mods

What do in-game mods do besides close levels and alpha test? Or is that it?

It just seems like, besides RPGMaster2000 who makes graphics, all they do is float around, close levels, make levels popular, and look pretty.
I nominate Tim the Sheep-Ostrich!!!

Yeah.
There should be more then 3 igm.
As far as I know, there are also the "secret mods," and my guess is their names aren't yellow.
