HOW DO I LOCK MY PROFILE?

yeah this is kinda a dumb question but how do i lock my profile?

I'm trying to figure this out too. Right now it looks like you're supposed to do it through a typo-link on the Free client.

i know, they dont make it easy. chris announces u can lock your profile on the blog but he dosent tell us how to. I meen i could understand not telling us if there was a huge lock button in your profile, but theres nothing like that.

I was just about to post that the link was not there on mine too. But I decided to refresh once more, and it appeared.
Though, this is only showing on the normal EE site. The beta site has not had the news update, it is still on the old profile message.

The beta client doesn't have that indeed, weird

I am unsure, but it could be because there is no beta profile page. Profile pages are loaded up via the normal EE site. So if you are logged into the beta site, then you would not be able to hide your profile, as you need to be logged into the normal EE site.
I guess this might be in the works.

thats what it is because i just noticed it when my sister loged in on the normal ee site (she aint got beta, hehehe) that the his show profile buttons were there.

I guess the betas have to log into the non-beta client. The fact that nonbeta has something beta doesn't pleases me.

*Facepalm* All we have to do is open up non-Beta client and click the button to lock.

All website are not provide the more security for the user. You have lock your profile go to setting. In setting lock option available that time only you lock your profile otherwise cant lock your profile.

And why would someone want to lock their profile? If you don't want to show your worlds, just change them to a curse word.

I can't see a motive for not wanting someone to see your bricks and smiley's.

Except if we load up the regular e.e without beta client we sign in as a guest...
