How to Post/Add/Upload Pictures on the Forum

MODS: I'm aware that a guide like this belongs in Forum Discussion. However, most questions about photos end up in the Questions and Answers subforum, so I figured it'd do the most good here.

Let's say I have this great picture. I want to post it on the forums. WHAT DO I DO?!

1. Upload it on a photo sharing site, such as Photobucket, Imageshack, or Localhostr to name a few. I prefer Localhostr (http://localhostr.com/) because no account registration is necessary to upload photos and the quality is great too. Follow the prompts, choose the photo(s) you want to upload, hit upload and you're done.

2. Copy and Paste the URL that pops up (if you're using Localhostr).

3. Use the image BBCode tags:

[img]IMAGE URL GOES HERE[/img]

4. Ta-da! You have a picture! You can use these tags in your signature as well. Just type them in as if you were typing anything else in your signature.

[img]http://localhostr.com/file/OVMXUfp/WOW.PNG[/img]

We've had many of these topics before but they always tumble down in the list.
