Avatar problem

I am trying to change avatar but when i want to it says its not allowed type. The avatar is jpeg.
Help please.

Try making it a GIF.   Sometimes the forums are just finicky.

.png is better if you're using an EE (or another pixely thing) image.

well, I printed screen with my ee player and then change smiley to red ninja smiley and i make it GIF and PNG but it only shows a ninja smiley

Well, If you have I problem again:
1.Right click on picture
2. Choose Save image as...
3. Save probably as a png.
4. Upload by choosing the file.
5. ???
6. Profit.
