Feedback needed: Block Miner

Hey guys,

We realise you're all probably in dire need of something to do during any time that for some reason you're not playing EE, and it just so happens that we have a game that needs some good constructive feedback

The game is called Block Miner and it's a side-scrolling mining game.

It'd be a great help to the developers if you guys could post any feedback you have for the game in it's forums or in this thread.

I would love to! I love mining games. First, the crazy colors on the start screen woke me up and I see you're not chris XD. The check boxes and radio buttons could be better. It took me a few seconds to figure out that the one you selected didn't actually fill in, it just got brighter slightly.

So far very nice. There's plenty of blue. And I like that you could mine the entire world if you so chose. The torches were nicely done in coding but the graphics (to my half-asleep eyes) look like little more than uneven orange squares. I wish you could change the color of your world. If your world is blue, and you want red, and you have 500 blue and 25 red, then the numbers would switch to become 500 red and 25 blue. That should keep people from switching to any color world they want just to get tons of blocks.

I like to rebel and put things in the wrong sections. It's an announcement, at least. This isn't made by Chris by the way, it's made by another developer called Mark. :3

Hmm, this is... bad.
What the hell is up with the character? It looks out of place. Physics are slippery. Graphics look shoddy.
If I didn't know any better, I would think that it was some 16 year old who wanted to make yet another 2D minecraft ripoff. Jumping is just annoying, and I hate how you have to click somewhere after clicking a sign to slide around again. The torch is a block, wtf. You can mine despite not being remotely close to the block. This is horrible.

For a second I thought EE was updated. Then I realized that it was just Toby rebelliously promoting a game in the EE Announcements section. Phew.

I know that guy, atleast, some of his games.
It's hard to judge this game, that because its a copy of Minecraft and Terraria.
I think its an OK game, but nothing special.

Suggestion: Make some object to climb up, like a rope or ladder. would be very usefull, cause the most efficient way to mine is down.

I got 2683 coins btw ;p

This should be multiplayer, that way people can help you mine.

And like others have said, it's hard to control the avatar. Who slides when they're done walking?

This is kind of boring to me, but it is in it's early stages. Why is their a giant head for a character though?
