The EE physics engine is very complex so I have made a guide with the test I ran with the physics engine and I have most of the things that can help you make a level in here. In this guide I will be teaching you how to become familiar with gravity bricks and what they do.

The speed attainable by moving in the direction of the gravity field is much greater than that attainable by moving perpendicular to it. For these reasons, gravity bricks are the basis for many advanced speed challenges and puzzles in the game.

The most common use of gravity bricks is to return a player to a previous point in a level, usually as a punishment for failing a challenge. Some interesting effects can be created with gravity bricks, such as roller coasters and elevators (Cannon Wells). It should also be noted that, since the gravity is modified, a player can still jump. The smiley will jump in the direction opposite of the arrows, just like in normal gravity.

Gravity arrows and the dots do not appear on the minimap.

First gravity brick I'm going to teach you how to use is the common ^ arrow. There is a way of knowing how to use arrows. Every 4 ^ is two spaces up, this works with almost all arrows. But if you hit space bar to jump into 4 ^ arrows it will get you to about 5 spaces up.
There is a way of knowing how to use up arrows and how many spaces it will get you to. One more action arrows can do, it can pull you towards a brick (picture below)

1 row of arrows will get you 3½ spaces over, 2 will get you 3 spaces over, 3 will get you 2 spaces over, and 4 will get you 1 spaces over. This part is going to get a little confusing. 1 arrow gets you 1 space up 4 spaces up when you jump start into the 1 arrow.

This here is a complete arrow scale to 10. So far I have not found a pattern I will make a list to 20 soon. If there is a error please notify me. 1= 1 spaces up 4 jump-start 2= 2 spaces up 4 jump-start 3= 3 spaces up 5 jump-start 4= 3 spaces up 5 jump-start 5= 4 spaces up 5 jump-start 6= 4 spaces up 6 jump-start 7= 4 spaces up 6 jump-start 8= 5 spaces up 6 jump-start 9= 5 spaces up 6 jump-start 10= 5 spaces up 6 jump-start

The next brick I'm going to teach you is the elevator. Elevator can do many things, it can be a way to move in certain worlds or just to be there. Here is the list of data I have made so far with elevators.

How far you'll go with elevator when you jump-start: 15 spaces How far you'll go when a an arrow pushes you into elevator: 8½ spaces As long as your smiley is more the half way onto a brick you will be able to jump on a elevator How far you'll descend with one empty space: 7 spaces How far you'll go with a 2 space jump up: 12 spaces More testing coming soon..

Key doors*
Key doors take approximately 8 seconds to open/close.
Spawn point*
So far the only testing on spawn point is that for every 2 spawn points there is a chance at a member hitting the not common one. There are many theory's to this one. I ran a test I made 3 bots two went to the spawn point closest to the top and one went to the bottom.

Looks like you put a lot of work into this.

Can you make it a bit easier to understnad? Like what do you mean by: "1= 1 spaces up 4 jump-start" ?


Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

1 arrow gets you 1 space up 4 spaces up when you jump start into the 1 arrow.

I don't know what you're 'elevator' thing is saying. It makes no sense.
