Rules of the Prisoner's Dilemma:

Two people each have two choices: to assist or betray. If both people assist, they each get a small reward: in this case, 8 coins. If both people betray, they get punished, simulated by a trap. If one person betrays another, the betrayer gets a big reward (or no punishment), in this case, the crown, and the other person gets a large punishment. There is no collaboration allowed between the two.
