Contest Level Similarity

I've noticed some similarity in two of Halloween Contest levels:
Stubby's Halloween by Stubby

EE Halloween Special by Qcboten

Also i found sprite art from google images in CS Crew's level:
compare them and see for yourselves

I made a spider in my level, it looks similar to those but i made it myself, maybe they did the same?

Tako, there is a clear difference between copying and referencing.

Copying would be like taking a picture of the woman modeling for you and claiming you painted it, referencing is looking at her and painting based on her image or looking at pictures of women to see how clothes fall on her shape, or in my case, looking in the mirror

I will give the spiders the benefit of the doubt, especially because if they were directly copied, they would look better than they do now

As for the image at the very top, I might have given some BotD if the letters weren't exactly the same. Now the only question is... who copied whom?

I think Qcboten copied Stubby, because I remember playing Stubbys level a long time ago. Even before the contest started I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong but Qcbotens is more recent isn't it? Besides I know Stubby, he may be a troll but he would never copy.
