Why the everybody edits patreon is shady

Warning, Opinions ahead, All of this is an opinion, You have been warned!

This is why the EE patreon is fishy in my opinion (Has nothing at all to do with the actual game!)
The thing that makes me view the patreon as manipulative has to do with the fine text, Not in patreon but many people dont read small gray text at the bottom.
The donations are monthly, That would be completely fine but the donations are 10$, 10X12=120$ a year.
A mild yellow tint to your name along with slightly more energy is not worth over 100$. and its disguised as 10$.
It gives the game a terrible rep in my opinion, Not on the level of games like edge of space that just took off with all your money, But still I wont be coming back anytime soon.
