Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I certainly can understand the situation in the Ukraine affecting the world almost as much as Covid did. I am continually amazed by how many companies had connections to workers out there that were suddenly fleeing their homes. I work for a little garden shop in America, and have surprisingly found myself personally impacted by political events on the other side of the world as well. I have always thought Putin was a bully and an idiot, and now he's finally committed some international war crimes that someone can hold him accountable for. Painful as it is, I'll call it progress. Major bonus points for Ukraine holding their own in all of this, too. You guys go ahead and keep showing Russia how dumb this was. Good job.
As for EE, I agree with the general sentiment that this is an important game to all of us fans, both as one of the few games that was as perfectly formulated as Tetris in its ease of pickup and depth of challenge, and also as one of the few multiplayer games that truly and thoroughly brought people together into a community. The community aspect was probably the most unique thing, in fact, as many games give some form of creative ability to the players for keeping the game interesting, but EE's idea of that creative interaction being in real-time was pure genius. The idea of building your level, as players explored it live and throughout the entirety of development, gave a sense of connection as a creator to their community, that is not available anywhere else. And it also gave opportunity for entirely new kinds of creative interactions that can only be done when everybody edits together.
I wish all of you devs well overall, and thank you for your dedication and hard work, especially when so much is going wrong in the world. And our hearts go out to everyone involved in the crisis in the Ukraine, as our cheers go out for every tidbit of news on Ukrainian rebellious victory. We fans complain loudest when it is something we love a lot, and I can only say that the fans of EE love it a LOT. I have been a player and a fan of EE for many years, and am more than happy to wait however long it takes for one of my most favorite games to come back to me. Good luck, gods bless, and keep up the good work. Know that as much as we complain, we are expressing that we love this game a lot too, and are rooting for you in our own way, knowing that you love it as well, and trusting you to shepherd something we both love into the future.
I have not been very active overall, but I have certainly been a long time fan of EE. I remember a lot of drama, but I also remember a lot of progress. Frankly, while I'm not a big fan of flash at all these days, I've still had lots of fun with EE. It's one of those games that I just keep coming back to, and I give some of that credit to you, Nou. I was very happy with all of the changes that came with 2.0, and how they evolved since they were first introduced. You have a lot to be proud of here. I hope that moving forward, anyone who takes the reigns has as much passion and dedication as you have shown. Not EVERYONE hates you, and your fans mourn the loss of you as a leader.
Good luck on whatever you do after this. I'm sure that brighter opportunities lay just over the next rise.
Every time I'm trying to do art, I really wish we had quarter blocks (blocks of a given color that only take up 1/4 of the normal tile size), and I had an idea. Why not just do them as decorations.
They could sit on the decoration layer (meaning that it would not be a problem for 3/4 of it to be transparent), and they would not be anything you could stand on, and best of all, you could layer them on top of the existing checker and solid backgrounds. I mean, we already have the checker blocks and half blocks, this would just make sense. PLUS, they are decorations, so you don't even need to figure out hit detection! And, as a final coup de gras, make them morphable so that you can choose what corner.
You could even make small groups and pair them along with their matching sets - Normal, Dark, Pastel, Neon, etc. That way, you could choose the palette you would work with, and I have NO problem spending gobs of energy on a bunch of sets, if I see the use for them.
I dug through the first 10 pages, and didn't see anything similar. Please tell me if this has already been suggested.

Currently not working for me. Same as others - the rest of the page loads, but all I get is a black box. Cobweb overlay is visible on top-right corner, but nothing else. Also, if I right-click, I get the appropriate shortcut menu starting with Everybody Edits v216 and ending with About Adobe Flash Player 23.0.0.205... I have NOT updated Flash between the time that it worked and the time that it stopped working.
Also, direct link to SWF in Firefox DOES work, and regular site loads fine in Chrome with no issues.
I was wondering if I was the only one experiencing this...
I am also getting the black screen of nothingness, but only on FireFox. This is even with Scripts turned on globally (NoScript turned off) not affecting it. DOES load in Chrome. Windows 7.
I would say going through and labeling every one of those things as foreground or background (solid/not solid, or whatever) would be useful as heck too.
Or just make them morphable. - you could cycle through green grass, white snow, and multi-color fall leaves
Yeah, I took the woot from Nou to mean that it was an excellent enough idea that it stood a real chance of being used, and didn't think any more of it. I certainly appreciate the support, though.
I would like the ability to order them completely ourselves, or at the very least, have a default sort by rank. Please.
Benefit: People considered staff/leaders/whatever can be placed at the top of the list for easy identification for both visitors and other crew.
I checked the first 20 pages for something like this, and a 6 page search on the word "crew", and didn't see anything. Not searching the whole 100 pages, though. If this is a duplicate, feel free to lock.
I have a crew, and two of our worlds were blanked.
Can I find out who blanked them? is there a log of such things?
Can I revert it to an earlier save before the blanking?
Does blanking it count as trolling (which is technically allowed)?
No. I wasn't talking about farming them or anything. I never did any of that. I just came across them as I played, and it was cool. I've a middling energy max (that has bounced around a couple of times, as they kept redoing the math on it), but I was hoping to increase it now that I have a crew. It looks like the only way to increase it at this point is through the daily rewards of Builder Club, but I haven't got the money together yet. I'm a poor gamer, and I've been relying on the free options in the game, and I was curious about this free mechanic disappearing.
How do I know that the chance is increased? Where does that message appear? Is it in game? Do I need to watch the blog? Is it in the forums?
I've been more active since the upgrade to 2.0, but I haven't come across any magic coins. I've been digging through the Q&A for this, and this is the closest I've come. Do they still exist now?
