Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Alright let's go through my imgur I guess. The oldest ones here are marked as "6 years ago" so I assume that's 2015.
(Some of the chat images might not be appropriate. Proceed with caution.)
I could go to more recent pictures too, but this is every picture of EE that was on page 4 or 5 of my imgur page when sorting by latest.
I could also filter out for actually good pictures, but that's pretty much none of them. Some highlights anyway:

But the plan is that you can transfer worlds from EEF, EEO, and EEU into EE!
Which means we need to pretty much make equivalents for all EE blocks
Which uhh
yeah
Fun!This is kind of baffling - she's outright said EE! will be "a new game altogether that serves not as a port to Everybody Edits, but rather a spiritual successor", so how could worlds be transferable? How long ago was that quote from?

what even is jump edit, i don't remember it anymore
Huh, completely missed this. Neat!
Looking forward to seeing how stuff happens now. A dedicated PR team is something I'm pretty sure the game didn't have before, but it's a good way to keep the drama down.
I don't like having a large distance between staff and community, but hopefully it won't be too bad as long as some people are active.
And it's nice to see people recognize mutantdevle as awesome, because he really is from the few times I was working on EE worlds with him.
i'm surprised i'm on this list
I have a lot of nice memories of EE. I first played in 2011, but back then I didn't think too much of the game. A few years later I decided to check out the game again and it had a lot of weird features like potions; by this point I was already a fan of game design which made me usually find this feature useless.
A few years after that, there was a large update. From here I remembered actually starting to know the community and being fairly active in the game. I looked up to people who knew what they were doing more than me (such as tiralmo, gabrielloverxp), and made some acquaintances that I didn't mind building with (master1, ipwner). I chose the username I use now solely due to the community (combination of john and schlog for this one), and I loved reading threads about drama.
I still very regularly chat with rocktheworld314, who I first met through EE, and I think I made more worlds with them than on my own. This is probably the most important thing I gained from this game; they're someone I consider a good friend who shares my interests, and I love working with them. Recently (I think it's been about 10 months now) we've been talking a lot more about anime instead of EE, but I don't think I would've met them if it wasn't for this game. I have other friends, but none I'd probe to see if they share my interests before I talk about them. also you should play the worlds they're pretty good
I like game design, and some worlds were very nicely designed. ML's First Samurai (video game 2 tier 4, by xenonetix) caught my attention, but there are other interesting worlds that push what can be done in EE. I've always loved nonlinear metroidvanias the most; they're obviously extremely uncommon in EE, but ML's First Samurai was basically exactly what I was looking for. Other worlds I found well designed were LOEE demonic citadel and aquatic sanctuary (by master1, puzzle 2 t4 and best of ee t7 respectively); while the latter was fairly broken, these remain two of my favorite worlds that have ever been made. They don't have any complicated systems in them, but they're just the right difficulty for what I enjoy and are puzzle-based. Another world that feels similar is rotcil illusions, though as an older world it's a lot more simplistic with its puzzles. There was a wip world I played somewhere recently, I think it was from mutantdevle? that also felt similar. There was also this really cool one by gkabyssflorida.
I'm a system person. People often only asked me to help so I could help build things with switches that do what they want, and I was basically always online so this was pretty reliable; but when I made worlds, I actually didn't include them that much. When I built with rocktheworld314, I often tried for puzzles - things that are hard to figure out. A consequence of this is most of kirisame crew's complete worlds being extremely puzzle-based, since those were the ones I was most motivated to complete, as I found them the most fun to make. (I can't speak for them, but they were also willing to spend 6h/day for several consecutive days making the worlds.) I loved this aspect of level creation, and I wish more people released puzzly worlds rather than just minis with challenging executions. Though I will say that the worlds are probably more fun to make than to play (not something I feel from making something like CTM; those are equally bad both ways). Despite all of this, challenging switch mechanisms were something I enjoyed building. Space and memory constraints are never something I consider for an actual program because I just don't need to do anything that advanced yet, so the need to consider them for something simple like this was a different challenge than I'm used to.
EE is a community-based game. The community of the game was great, and it led to me having something to do whenever I was bored. Whether it was making or playing, EE had something for everyone. I loved the game when it was more active, and it makes me smile when I see someone who plays the game in a different community I'm in. I hope EEU succeeds; while I enjoy making levels, I need an engine to make those levels in, and a platform like EE basically guaranteed that people would give the levels a try (except most of them were too difficult for most people to complete; I make stuff exactly hard enough that I struggle to beat it, after all).
This game was a lot of fun. I want to have fun, even though my life has become so much busier than before. Thanks for reading~
I want to see an outlier boxplot of the results

some of those are a little crazy while some feel like they could've been set a bit higher
earth
wait **** now i have to play ee again
The first time I've heard about it was here (I heard about it elsewhere afterwards), but I don't know what it is.
might as well join
Does rogue win end the game? Can the rogue win if dead?
wow i forgot why i like following mafia games, i might actually go join spec chat
I've been looking forward to this! I like reading through long mafia threads, so it shouldn't be a problem to laugh at all of onjit's posts.
I only really struggled on the last one. Doing a randomized puzzle in 3 minutes seems hard, though...
Where do the worlds actually download to? can't find them
edit: nvm i should really put stuff into their own folders
you need copper and jade keys before you can unlock crystal
wow buzzer at least spoiler it instead of snipping entirely, now i can't read it
This was a community I made good friendships in. It wasn't the first one, but it taught me how to design less horrible levels and let me meet a friend that I still work on random projects with (rocktheworld314). It really was mostly a timewaster and chatroom, but I still enjoyed it while it lasted. I also liked being able to really build mechanisms, since I'm still nub at actual programming but I could handle switches.

I vote for Onjit. It seems lame to pick the same person twice.
(I only read the first 2 pages, so)
I believe it's fine to ban for offensive jokes, provided there are rules against doing so. I'm not sure what the rules are, but I couldn't find them easily so they should be in a place where someone can find them if they want to read them. An example of a rule to prevent jokes like this is "No hate speech, slurs, or joking about topics like suicide or rape."
The benefits of having a rule page like this is that when someone breaks a rule, it can simply be reported as breaking specifically that rule.
The wording of each rule should be strong. "Spreading False Illegal Acts As Legitimate" does have "i was making a joke" as a legitimate excuse, because there are some bad jokes that exist that are technically claiming a false illegal act yet tend to be ignored because of how obvious it is as a joke.
I don't believe jawapa's ban was justified, though. They were being aggressive, yes, but that's when explaining why the ban occurred should happen (rather than attacking the person asking).
wonder how i got the game and i just go help develop i try to find someone else to take over
