Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

How was this posted today at 8:58? It's only 8:30
i've been playing Celeste it's pretty cool
I replayed that game on the Switch fairly recently (around march/april) for the first time since it came out and I enjoyed it, I made it to the chapter 6 B-side iirc and it was pretty difficult and I kinda gave up and haven't touched the game since. Part of me wants to 100% that game one day, but idk if its worth it because of how stupidly difficult it is lol
Okay, so recently I've been itching to play good ol everybody edits again, so I started playing Rivelka's Everybody Edits Rewritten. It's cool that it has multiplayer functionality, problem is, nobody is ever online. I think I ran into another player maybe 2 or 3 times, and I've been logging on fairly consistently for the past month or two. I know there is also Everybody Edits Offline, which seems like the more optimal tool for actually creating and sharing levels, but the problem is that you can't play and interact with others in that version, which was my favorite aspect of the original EE. I've been working on a world in EER for a while now, and I'm starting to think that I maybe should have made it in EEO instead, but I'm already more than halfway done creating it and I don't want to start all over (also Rivelka if you're reading this, PLEASE get rid of the feature where anybody can edit any level they join, that feature **** sucks (I didn't know that was a thing until some **** clown joined my world and used the clear world command and thank god I was able to kick him before he could save)). Anyway, when I'm done making this world I would love to be able to share it, but like I said I fear that people will **** it up and on top of that, I don't think many people will be able to play it anyway because I have a feeling more people are using EEO. Hopefully at some point there will be a feature to transfer worlds between EER and EEO.
woah, everybody edits in 3d? no way
thats just minecraft
I don't know if anyone else has had this issue, but I can't seem to see other worlds that are online, and other people can't see my world when I'm in it. I made sure I checked the box to show the world in the lobby and my profile, and my friend still couldn't see it. Anyone know what to do?
I loved JabaBot Dig Dig by JabaTheBlob1. It was more or less a typical digbot level, but it had like 6 or 7 different circular areas each with different colored dirt blocks and that was memorable. I don't remember much else about the bot specifically but I remember I loved playing it back then.
FishBot by Ugotpwned was another great bot level. It was a huge vertical world with face blocks that acted as fish that you would try to collect. There was so much to upgrade and progress through in this world. There was even a private submarine thing that let you go to the super deep water and catch rarer fish. You could invite/block certain people from joining it which I always thought was so cool.
More bot levels: that one battle blocks level by Rdash, bArena by Captain9, FastMapler's Minebot/Drawbot, Bombot by Jesse
Super EE Party was a great level too.
i like making music
What happens if someone beats it 3 times consecutively
they get $60
None of our EE worlds will be transferred over, which is extremely discouraging. I've had no motivation to build in either game; EE because of that fact, EEU because there isn't much to build with yet.
Personally, I don't think EEU will be very successful, but who knows. I don't see myself playing EEU for very long unless there becomes a way to transfer old worlds over to the new site.
reply "yes" if yes. reply "no" if no.
me:
Yes, I looked at the EEArtist forum and tried downloading it. Didn't work.
Yes, I know EEArtist is super old.
Yes, I know I'm an idiot for buying a Mac instead of a PC. Yes, it's garbage.
Yes, you must respond if you know of a Mac version of EEArtist.
I don't "play EE". I use it as a social network for chilling with my friends, and forming genuine friendships with people significantly younger then me living on the other side of the country. I couldn't care less about the state of the game. Updates are just an amusement. If I don't have any more friends left to talk to, then I will leave.
Good point. EE is starting to feel more like a social website/large chatroom rather than an actual game. Which is fine, I guess.
I'm going to ask matpat from the game theorists about this right now.
most of the glitches occur because ee calculates vertical movement before horizontal, but not both at the same time
This was okay for old ee, when there weren't any rotating one-ways, gravity effects (this is the main reason it wasn't added much earlier, it was very buggy and it still is)
Easy example of ee physics directional inconsistency:

So that’s how hovers work. Interesting. Now explain how 1x1 hookjumps work. I couldn’t do one of those to save my life.
What do you can an EE player who has to go to the bathroom?
dumb
