Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Gravity Ice
Skill difficutly - Medium
Puzzle difficulty - Hard - Extreme
This is a winter/ice themed world. It takes about 30 min to beat, if you know how to beat it.
There are quite a few places in this world where you just don't know how to get a coin, and you think it's too hard, impossible, or not beatable. But in fact, it's almost easy, but just not intuitive.
It's that kind of a level EE is missing a lot in campaigns. Beating this world gives you a huge sense of accomplishment because it took brain effort, and your fingers are still alive.
UPDATE 09/13/17
A rotating gear for the industrial typeredid cog aura with pingohits' suggestion
colors and glow are messed up for some reason so i may redo it another time if i want to come back to auras
In the animation the cogs look too round-ish. If those outer parts were bigger it would look even better.
(Why can't we mirror the animation, I mean turning the spin animation in the other direction? That would make sense for cogs that are next to each other.)
Contest is over. The trolls were half as bad as it sounds. We got three winners who all successfully got their 50 gems each. The winners are:
1. Kirby
2. BJBL
3. Muffin / Muftwin
Planned to do that 5 min before start. I guess I can do that now. It is actually not a new world, but very few played and about 2 people beat it.
http://everybodyedits.com/games/PWAARLIViya0I
It will start in 45 min from now.
Okay rules changed, everybody can win. That world is hard enough. It can get late until 3 people win. There is demand from quite a few Betas.
Everybody can win!
Becoming beta is most rewarding imo. No need to give away money to the rich. I know there are people who earned their beta with effort and could probably buy other classic stuff with gems.
It's to much of an effort for me to filter out all the people who really don't need gems, so I use only one filter on the winners, the non-beta filter.
Hi guys, in about 4h from now I will post a world of mine.
It will start at 9 pm german time.
EDIT: EVERYBODY can win.
Previously I wrote that only non-betas can win. But I see a high demand for the gems from people who want them, too. Not only because of that demand I change the rule, but also because that world is hard enough to beat, probably not fun either.
The gameplay difficulty is medium. The puzzle difficulty is hard.
Sorry to disappoint the people who liked that only non-betas could win previously. But I'm not that much of a Jesus. My gems, my rules, gotta go to bed sometime aswell.
I was thinking of giving it away in three different ways.
First winner of one specific levels of mine; To someone who saves up for beta, and to someone random but someone who still earned it in some way.
to give away. I have no use for them.
Hi, can a Mod use 150 of my gems to make 3x 50 gem codes and send them via mail to me? My game name oinx, too.
I was thinking of a spider that got all of its legs on the ground, similar to the way the purple ghost looks.
That way, when the spider smiley touches upside down gravity, it will look like a spider that is actually walking on the wall or the ceiling.
If the game was really smart it would morph the graphics of the spider when it is walking on ropes.
As the title says... It will look cool to have a spider smiley crawling upside down on the ceiling next to spider webs.
Just do a poll in the forum and ingame, asking players what they would do if x,y,z happened to the game.
Also, to make EE good again, many more players need to come that don't know this game. Whatever happens to EE, it needs to be advertised and good enough gameplay wise to make people play this game. Will EE reach such a status in past 2017/2018?
Is it even something that can be achieved gameplay wise, or is that kind of game not meant to attract more people in this day and age?
If rebuilding EE makes people lose everything they played for, give those people some kind of advantage in the next EE game that is equal to their amount of achievements, and time investment.
Edit: I find that EE was very pleasant with NOU as the admin. He was present, and he talks rational, not emotional. It even got me online to post this.
hedgehog
octopus smiley with visible tentacles
baby smiley with a pacifier
sun smiley
snail
I like the forest pack. And now that I look at the pig I created (right smiley in my avatar), I feel like I was too humble. That one looks so good. The ears are sharp, the nose is there and even the mouth. No need to make another one unless you want a boar.
This world reminded me of the map of the game "Little King's story" :O Then I looked up and saw that mountain in Kirby's map, and I was like: "This really is it"
On a closer look, it was not that. However, "Little King's story" would be a cool game to design a map for.
Back to topic: If this map is really just hard - and not hard for Kirby - I would love to have such a huge chunk of map in a campaign.
Hey DarkComent, cool that you made a pig, but it looks kinda lame. It looks like a human who is embarrassed, not a pig. Can you try making a boar with little horns?
One like this with the nose graphics going below the hit box of the smiley, like the gas mask smiley.
It's important to make the nose look as cute as in the pic, thanks!
Guys, if you look at my avatar do you notice that we got some kind of real devil, the one for beating Perpetual Frustration?
So the EE staff recognized the need of adding a real evil smiley, just like the one you see on the left.
If you take a further look at the three smileys, it's just obvious that EE still needs a pig. We got so many animals, but no pig. I'm not saying we need a pig because I want one. It just looks really great, and I think we owe the pigs that we eat at least a smiley in EE.
Since my opinion counts a lot I want to say: I approve. Btw, since when has it been officially decided that long campaigns are bad, especially when they are considerably easy? Long campaigns are cool, it's like "playing a game that got some content", which suits this kind of theme just perfectly.
You can disagree, but Santa will punish you, just saying....
The dot and arrow colors would act as a bonus. They are, just as the rest of the visual suggestions, for aesthetic purposes. The colors don't need to have a range of colors. Just a few main colors as yellow, green red, blue, and black with a white border, and white with a black border are fine.
You would also expect a world builder to take care of the contrast. Right now it's more like you have to adjust your surroundings by not using yellowish backgrounds or similar surroundings, so yellow dots and arrows are visible enough.
It would not add that much to the complexity as the huge amount of blocks already did.
Dots and arrows however are a main thing, and it is weird for one of the main objects in EE to be that limited in colors.
Hi I hope this has not been asked before. I noticed that my yellow dots did not fit into the whole color theme for one of my worlds.
And I have been wondering why something that obvious has never been taken care of.
What do you think of having dots in a few different strong colors. Dots are used in almost every world but they are only yellow, at least the visible ones.
Could it be that dots just have been yellow because of no background colors back in the days? Without a background color that yellow looks perfect. But times have changed and we have background colors. We even have so many different block colors that sometimes the yellow just does not fit into the picture.
My suggestion is to choose a color for small and big visible dots in some kind of drag down option, so the menu won't be filled unnecessarily.
The same suggestion goes for visible arrows, too.
Would like to hear some pro / contra point of views.
In the new campaign there are multiple places where a dc makes it impossible to win a campaign. That goes for the new campaign in tier 3 and 4, where you have no double jump after a dc in a few minis.
Will additional upgrades be placed near the checkpoint, or will there be an update to prevent the upgrade loss after dc?
