Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I feel really disappointed by the updated physics taking away Dot Jump.
If you don't know what that is, it's a recent glitch that allowed the player to hold space to jump at the edge of a dot line if he was perfectly aligned in said line.
I am working on a stage that used this glitch on a mini and i thought that the glitch had a lot of unexplored potential. Placing an up arrow at the end of the dot line would let you jump downwards for example. Two consecutive horizontal lines allow for a new kind of hook jump that doesn't use blocks. I can't imagine what talented designers would be able to do with it.
How do you people feel about Dot Jump?
I liked it. Gave us more inspiration for minigames. I'm kinda **** off. (I guess it's better than being **** on but) I was working on a map with the dot jump and when the update came I smashed my keyboard. Thanks Chris! I have to clear my world and get another keyboard
Yep, Chris ruins everything again.
Since you guys were aware of it being a glitch, incorporating it in to your level is just silly when it will, by definition, be fixed in a later update.
Gotta agree with RPGmaster on this one, glitches are glitches, whether it's good nor bad doesn't matter at all, bugs need to be fixed.
Saddening, yet true.

I'm not a community guy so I don't know if many players wanted that to be fixed.
I do know however that it added new possibilities in gameplay.
Also, saying that "they are glitches, so they are bad and should be fixed" is naive. Many games have glitches and unexpected physics behavior that end up deepening the gameplay. Like "snakeing" in F-Zero GX. Like "wavedash" in Smash Brothers Melee. I think even the trademark "special cancel" mechanic of Street Fighter was born as a glitch.

Can be too sure on that, as lazy as chris is. It took him 6 months to fix the saved world glitch and I'm still not sure its completely fixed.

Y'know, I'm generally all for bugs being fixed.
I hate tall signatures.

You're the one who used a glitch to create a level. You should've known that it would have been fixed eventually.

Yeah i'd be pretty annoyed if the dot jump wasn't fixed because i have alot of maps that were so exploitable with dot jumps i couldn't release them and i didn't want to redo all the minis..
