Should the EE Podcast be created?

So back in January, I had planned to create an Everybody Edits Podcast. Time constraints and fewer EE updates meant that I decided not to go ahead with it. I'm thinking of revisiting the possibility of doing it, but if I do, what do people actually want to listen about?

The current plan is:

EE Updates & News
Update Review
Quotes (possibly)
Ask Mega (possibly)
Skype Interviews (possibly)
Popular Levels
My Choice
- Art Level of the Week
- Challenge Level of the Week
- Fun Level of the Week
- Boss Level of the Week
Sign Off

I would also include music, but it would only be freely distributed music including mostly computer game remixes.

The other question is how long I should make it - Would people actually listen for a whole half an hour or should I just make it 10-15 mins?

Feel free to suggest other additions to this or give me feedback if you think there's no point in having a podcast

I think you might have trouble though finding a good different Boss, Art, Fun and Challenge level every single week though

This sounds interesting... I say go for it.

Plus, I would say start with 10-15 mins for each podcast (because I think it will take 15 mins max to talk about all of that) and if you need more time, then go from there.

What type of music; the epic orchestral types like this, or the upbeat 8- 16-bit old-schoolish types like this?

It really depends on your voice. Talk with enthusiasm then I'll listen for half an hour, yeah. If enthusiasm just isn't your type of 'style', then it would be best to keep it 10-15 minutes.

Sounds like a lot of fun to me. The thing I'd like most would be interviews. In fact, now would be the perfect time to start considering the Halloween Contest is going on.

I could always make sone BG music for you, too.

Ok, well after saying about doing this, I am now planning on doing so. I may release the first Podcast this Sunday (maybe Monday) depending on my time constraints. I've got some music lined up for background music as well as short clips to listen to and other than that I'll talk about the Hallowe'en Contest, some cool levels and maybe some other fun stuff too. I've set it up to be approximately 15 minutes long. You can subscribe in the link in the first post and I don't know how to set it up on iTunes if I were to do that. We'll see how this pilot episode pans out first though before I try to put it on iTunes.

At the moment, these will certainly be free podcasts - I can't forsee them being charged for any time in the near future

Might make it fortnightly or monthly - Would probably be more realistic.
