How about you let us have the freedom to say what we like? Maybe you just don't understand because it didn't affect you, but you don't know how it affected other people. So instead of telling people to stop whining let them whine. It's a forum for public discussion, and we are discussing the update.

Player 1: Wow I just spent 2 long and hard weeks working on this level and now it's perfect!

Chris: *insert troll face here* *update*

Person 1: Now it's all ruined it's gonna take hours to fix! I was so happy with the way it looked before, and now I'm gonna have to spend all this time to fix it!

Chewy: Shut up and get it over with you whiner baby!

Person 1: Shut up you -insert bad word here- you don't understand what I've been through!

Wow. You really do like to twist peoples words. You keep arguing about me expressing my views, that people should stop complaining, while you promote people complaining/expressing their views. And you would know all about flaming, seeing as 2/3 of your warnings are for flaming.

Be carefull, you sounds very aggressive to me. I don't know if you really are, if this is intended, but some of the upset players around here may take this quite bad, and I don't think a moderator should give this impression.
Anyway, even if I like this update because, well, I've been waiting for it too, and because it doesn't destroy my levels, I know some of us have lost hours and hours of works, especially in the contest, so I wouldn't act like this. This might upset them a lot and you may actually make them leave EE for that - Especially since you're a moderator. ( And you somehow represent EE dev team here )
I know being moderator isn't always fun because it gives you some responsabilities and therefore you have to watch what you're writing - but still, It's important to be reminded some time that you can cross the line and it's easy to flame "a bit" and start a <censored>storm on a forum, especially when there's something that people dislike.

I'm sorry if my opinions are to extreme for you. If you ever learned to be open-minded maybe you wouldn't be giving out warnings left and right.

Just face it, we've always had conflicting views and we always will. All I'm saying is this topic is kinda pointless (and in my opinion) more of a duplicate topic because this update is already being discussed in other topics. Some people are saying they enjoy the update, and others find it less than satisfactory, but telling people to stop whining (to me) is like saying let's not discuss what's new. Let's not explain our thoughts are feelings.

Not trying to be rude, and honestly I've never got a warning that I actually deserved, but unless you have something else smart to say I believe this discussion between us is over.

for me this update just helped. I can fix my map, and I have new colors to it.
The only thing I regret is that chris forget to make the upground more visible in the minimap, so if I make a background in all the map, the blocks will not appear.

/offtopic: Look Chewy (and whether you read this or not doesn't bother me) but there is a difference between a good good guy, and a bad good guy.

Yes sometimes you are a good moderator. You keep the forums from being spammed up with nonsense, and prevent flaming with your banning powers.

Other times you tend to overreact, like in the TI:2 topic. People expressed their opinions and all of a sudden their were warnings going out, and bans, and for what?

This is why we don't get along. Sometimes you try so hard to be good that you end up actually being a jerk. You do realize it is possible to run a forum without banning someone every five seconds?

Anyways this is all off topic. I shall now stop posting in this topic if you wish to further this conversation feel free to PM me.

The Update Didn't ruin my world.
and it only took me about 8min. to update backgrounds.
I did it on a great world
and it was also solo.
so idon't know what the big commotion is about.

yeah maybe it did ruin your world.
that's why chris added a Whole Week to update your worlds
and that was very generous of him to do so.

anyways now you got an extra week to update your worlds
and you got new colors to make better art.
so "don't worry, be happy"

Chris is human too, he can make mistakes (big and smalls).

So if you want more time to fix your level, ask it, but don't just go out blamming chris and his things.
