What is a "noob"?

I'm new to this forums, and one of my main goals is not to be hated. Of all the different forums and games I've been to, almost all of them have different classifications of a "noob", or "troll", etc. Besides the things like flaming, trolling, spamming, and all the other things that no one likes, what do you think is a "noob"?

NOTE: I have read the ToS, rules, FaQ, etc. Although, I would like to know how not to be hated level wise, forum wise, and socially. Thanks ;]
By the way, I apologize if by making this thread some people may call me stupid (been there done that), but I would just like to know rather than messing up later.

Noob- Contrary to the belief of many, a noob/n00b and a newbie/newb are not the same thing. Newbs are those who are new to some task* and are very beginner at it, possibly a little overconfident about it, but they are willing to learn and fix their errors to move out of that stage. n00bs, on the other hand, know little and have no will to learn any more. They expect people to do the work for them and then expect to get praised about it, and make up a unique species of their own.

Troll-One who posts a deliberately provocative message to a newsgroup or message board with the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument. Or in the case of Everybody edits, it is a person who edits in a way that is disliked by others.

A noob is you, No jk, Noobs Are just people who suck and make stair levels, box minis, cant pass the simplist challenges, etc..

Newb = Starter/New = Zymec, your new to the forums.

Noob = No experience and never gains any = Stairs, hookjumps ect.

Noobs in everybody edits are the ones who make those kind of levels:
-Stairs
-Minigames in boxes
-Most of the bosses, but not all of them
-Smiley art, and every art that is just sprites messed up in the minimap

Trolls is a controversial topic here. Some say it is necessary to troll noob worlds (^) in order to stop it, some say it hurts the player so trolling is a no-no.

Noobs in the forums, I guess those will have to be the ones who flame in purpose, use a bad grammar, make bad designs, ask for buying them stuff, make topics that already exist, insult other people, spam, override the rules, ask to be mods, and the list is long.

If you want not to be hated:
-Civility is a good thing
-Follow the rules
-Be nice
-Think before you hit this "Submit" button
-Make nice stuff so people will appreciate you (e.g. nice sig, helpful tutorial, clever bot, amazing design, necessary suggestion, interesting topics, etc.)
-Try to make good levels and not the "noob" ones as I mentioned up there
-Try to be friends with the most people. It's always good

2. nonchatter/guests (Depends) most pros have chat.
3.someone that dosnt use energy when theier shop is full of smileys and blocks.
4.Builds stairs, minis, races Etc.
5. No experience at art.

Spelling and grammar is what makes you noob or pro on the forums.   Oh yeah, and making good levels doesn't hurt.

Sorry, but most of these don't even make sense. If I can't pay because my parents won't let me, it doesn't necessary mean I am a noob. The energy thing, well, I can't see why someone is noob when he's not paying for stuff. Maybe he doesn't play a lot or forgot... Same for 5. Art is not everything in EE, I know a lot of "pros" who know absolutely nothing at art.

I'd rather be thought of as a noob for asking this rather than being thought of as a troll for doing something wrong in the future

There is a difference between newb and noob.

A newb is someone who is new to the game.
A noob is someone who sucks at the game, and refuses to accept constructive criticism, or someone who is just an all round idiot.

Also:

The only noob is the one who made the hook jumps to begin with.

So all mini games are noob now? Plus I've seen some pretty awesome races. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and if you don't like a level don't play it (unless you are trolling it) then it's ok ^_^

Well, noobs starve for stair levels, and think hooks are pro, which there not.
Heres how to figure out if someones a noob:
Noob1: hEYYYYY!!11!!!!!!1!!11!1!!
Noob2: hey galfrand!!
Noob1: heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy goe to ma sweat awsum steir laval!!
If you see this, right away respond.
Pro: Excuse me, can you spell better?
Noob1: HUH????? WAT YA MEEN BRO?? IM SPILING RITE!! YOU NOOB!!

hmmm . . what i would refer as a noob is.

a person who is new to the game or is not very good at it
pretty simple

since you say they have different classifications, this one should be
someone that isn't experienced.

A noob is someone who makes stairs, boring unorignal minis, and never learns to get better. They -rep you when you talk bad about there levels EVEN if your trying to help.
Also I'd like to point out that they all think that wizard/fire wizard/witch are based off of skill and not luck. The other day I had a noob come in my level and say "haha you suck you have no witch".

Daniel1234 is probably the best EE player out there and he isn't very good at art. Does that makes him a noob?
