Is it just me or..?

I was on facebook and I was talking to my friend.We had kind of a smiley war.I was looking at the smileys and I thought some of them looked exactly like the ones we have on EE.Like the aggravated face,the smile,and the face and the winky face.Are some of the smileys based on the Facebook smileys or is it just me?

no its just you EE literally codes and designs the smiley's themselves they actually have a difference these are just funny coincedinces

Yes they are, Chris ripped off some of the smileys and polished them.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I think the original six and about half of the beta smileys were based on Facebook smileys.

List of FB smileys

The left is the FB smiley, the right is the EE smiley, and the one below that is literally the facebook smiley with only the brightness and contrast changed. There's a larger version showing how close they are, pixel by pixel.

So Chris basically traced the FB smiley.

I'll kill myself if someone seriously tries to say that FB copied off of EE.

^This and ^^This. A total of 13 smileys that I know of from Facebook are in EE.

Yea its really funny how alot are ripoffs of fb, knowing that if chris had let rpg design the originals, all would be unique
