Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

This topic isn't about changing current EE, but rather deliberating how you would've made the shop or perhaps no shop at all!
Micro-transactions (fake or real) allow players to pace themselves and can be fair as long as they are purely cosmetic. EE's currency refills overtime, which may incite players to comeback later or play longer. However, this means you'll have to wait for items unless you take mother's credit card. This also includes action blocks and worlds, which is where I think EE falls flat. Not being able to build the same worlds as your friends sucks. Not having a full utility at the get-go sucks. It sucked in mario-maker, when even after drastically reducing the wait time people exploited to skip. In short, HAVING TO WAIT IS A HUGE TURN-OFF.
Here's my example:
-players start with basic smileys, all blocks (action & decorative) + 20 free worlds
-there aren't a ton of gross blocks wasting space (thanks shoe), and improved block selection ui (think Bee's Custom Tab, scroll wheel, smart-tiles, and a block hue changer, maybe limited to custom background blocks)
-worlds can be set to any size under a max limit.
-no energy
-players must buy extra worlds and smileys with gems for a fair price
-players will also be encouraged to earn free gems and exclusive smileys through competitions
I want to hear your ideas. How would you handle players getting items? Should they have them all to begin with or should there be limits?

Of course we can't make diamond free, so that means there's still going to be a Blocks tab in the shop, I assume. Would cake and holograms stay there too? I like the idea of at least having some sort of goofy blocks to buy.
