Indeed, infact, I believe this is just a desperate attempt at getting more rep as you've been -repped quite a bit lately. I would not like a rep in this way.

I think it's allowed if, for example, I asked for my rep to stay at 34, becausse it's the amount of reps I have, but not if I asked to have 70 reps when I have only 34, because I'd be receiving rep for no reason.
What 32OrtonEdge32dh did, which is what I believe you're reffering to, is allowed in my opinion.
