Most people (who do not troll) would probably say that people troll because they are lonely, unaccepted, or just want to relieve stress. Though this is not the case.

Trolling is more than destroying a level, it's more than just relieving stress. It's about having fun and, occasionally, sending a message.

I get called more insults from trolling, but it doesn't bother me. It's just fun. It's epic to crush the noobs beneath my feet and watch them rage and lash out with anger.

It's not for teh profit, it's for teh lulz.

Personally, Failgirl, that's like gimp saying it's fun to crash when I spend four hours working on something that involved a lot of copying and pasting and resizing and stuff. And then I usually go 'FUUUUUUUUUUUUU' when that happens because I wasn't saving frequently, or at all...
...which funnily enough, applies to EE too. People tend to get pretty **** when you ruin something they worked hard on just for crap and giggles, you know? Seriously, if you want laughter, perhaps you should do something besides ruining other people's fun.
It's actually a bit like bullying, you know? Like knocking over someone's sandcastle just to feel powerful and to laugh at their misery. Yet it seriously **** people the **** off when you do that. And it's actually making me a bit angry that you find joy out of ruining it, because it's of value to someone out there. Can't you find other ways to have fun than destroying people's creations? Honestly.

Well actually my trolling level has gone done, I've only trolled once in the past week, and even then I just don't waste my time much anymore. I mean I'd troll if someone wanted me to, but I've been doing a lot less hit and run.

Anyways, if I really cared that much about what people thought of me I would've stopped ages ago. Generally I always think before I act. I ask myself, "Is it worth it?". And even if I do decide to troll I usually have a reason. I don't just go around randomly like I used to.

I'm bad if I want to be bad, and good if I want to be good. I'm very unpredictable sometimes, but that's just how i am.

If somebody trolled your world, then, in all likeliness, you're level was totally noobish and deserved to be trolled, especially after you willingly gave the code out.

Trolling is just a way for people to express their anger OR they find pleasure in destroying others work.
If someone is gonna troll there gonna do it with or without permission.

personally im not a troll, but i dont mind the people that are... Trolls will be trolls.

Scienceguyz, you may want to check out this old thread that deals with "nooby" lobby levels and whether put put effort in making great new levels (slow) or subduing "noobish" ones though the use of trolling (fast). Also, remeber not to gravedig ; ).

Oh, wait, I forgot, I live in the twenty-first century where it's okay to be completely stupid and unemphatic and uncaring. Thanks for reminding me about my misanthropic nature.

I suppose you think I have anger issues because it **** me the **** off that people don't care at all when someone's proud of something they've done, because you're too lowly and you think you deserve to place judgement upon their levels because you can create better levels than them. Oh, who cares that I'm proud of something that *I* think is good, it's all about what others think.

No wonder why it seems everyone has a low self-esteem, because they're not allowed to be proud of whatever accomplishments they have because there's always someone better than them.

So why even bother trying to do anything, if whatever you do isn't good enough for everyone, since people aren't even allowed to have sub-par EE levels anymore, on a game with maybe ten thousand players, which is a pretty high estimate and also pretty low as far as flash games go.
