Contest and Prize Suggestions

After the fiasco of the Halloween Contest, I think it's a good idea to suggest options for the next official Everybody Edits contest. Feel free to post your suggestions on this thread of what the theme of the next contest should be!

Please don't suggest well-known holiday themes as they would be too obvious

I would also like to host a poll to see what people believe prizes should be. Bear in mind when voting that these would generally be EXCLUSIVE prizes, so you must accept the fact that if you would lose the contest, you may never get another chance to win them. Energy is not an option as Chris has stated he no longer wants to issue increases to maximum energy in contests. Please right-click the image to open the poll in a new tab:

Finally, how do you suggest the next contest should be judged? Personally, I think the system used for the New Year's Eve competition should be refined and the community should be involved somehow. What are your views?

Wish I could vote for two! I think that it would be best to have smileys or worlds - it would be cool to have specially sized worlds as prizes, but if not then smileys are best in my opinion. I agree that the next contest should be judged similarly to how the New Year's one was.

I think the judging would not be done as it was now. Also not as the new years contest or the easter contest.

I think people must vote on who they want to judge. Also I think there must come a back up judging as something like they did in the new years contest.

Or that everyone who is part in the contest can judge 3 times, and that people who are not in part cant vote.

I'm surprised at how many votes there are for "Worlds".

I would like energy as well.

However much we would all like energy, Chris has stated outright that he no longer wants to award maximum energy for contests. I would assume this is because the Magic Coin system is in place and working for him when there were no such things in existence back in January.

mega lamb your wrong there was magic coins in januay they were just very very new i remember i had after i got on 2nd place in the contest i hade 707 max energy

Judging it the way new years was done is not a very good idea, although I would want to incorporate more of the community within judging.

Next contest should be season-themed.
For prize,let the winner(s) choose.
Like,first place gets 3 diffrent things from 7-prize-list.
Like : First place (s) #1 mycrew Members : Jack,James,John   John chooses: smileys,newsizedworld,decorations. Etc.

Isn't it good idea? (:

I think that Chris wants to keep prize-giving as a fairly simple process. If we had 12 winning teams each with 5 people in, he wouldn't want to spend hours on end awarding 60 people customizable prizes.

I think the winners should be awarded with energy ONLY. Exclusive smileys/anything else suck for everyone that didn't win. Gems could be a good idea, too.

The New Years competition was the most successful, but nowadays it's also the most troll-able, so I'm not sure.

yea, but exclusive smiley's are no good either :/ thats why i say gems! but chris is to greedy for that.

But the problem with prizes is, the same people win every contest so people either have all the prizes or none of them (most of the time). I feel like you shouldn't be aloud to win twice in a row or something.

I still like the idea of exclusive smilies, I also support exclusive decorations (as long as they are bigger than the trophy), and maybe even a block.   Altough I stand by thinking that diamonds should be contest prizes.

Chris would be losing money.

A very minuscule amount of money, but money nevertheless.

In retrospect, I think adding "Your Suggestion In-Game" was a bad move because Chris just gets suggestions at random times and sometimes implements them.
