Something I noticed.

Chris has changed a few things, as master1 pointed out the whole two energy thing with Chris KNOWING that it was a refill and was supposed to be a refill. But he changed it. a theory came up saying more people will use gems. Not a bad idea about the theory.

Now something I noticed: He has come out and changed the whole contests saying he doesn't want energy given out from it. (insert above theory here)

And then this pic came up: Of him saying he doesn't want community ideas.

The classical tab was a community idea (I know who but I don't think he would like to be pointed out.) the classics tab gives Chris....gems.

Oh yea, sure everyone likes money, but what about a flash game that pulls in $10,000/month?

And if I'm wrong just tell me, I come up with stupid ideas but there might be parts that I don't know about, and some I have right on the target.

Do you know why Chris doesn't accept community ideas? It's copyright infringement. Legally he can't use anyones graphics, besides RPGMaster2000s because if he were to do so he would have to pay each person a fee.

And so what if Chris doesn't visit the forums? It's not for him it's for the fans like he said.

I think you should be more appreciative of what you do get. And plus anything that is gem only is really nub anyways (like diamond and big spender) everything else can be bought free with energy which is perfectly fair. Stop being so critical.

People SUGGEST Them to be used. I don't think they'd care as long as it's put in the game. The pride of saying "Thats mine!". Legally he can. He used facebook smileys, heck, RPG Doesn't get PAID to make the graphics, but he does. Not anything different.

EDIT: And by the looks, you created a new account just for the heck of writing that.

Hell, they are GIVING the graphics to him to use.

You can Suggest them but making them then him Using the Graphics you made would be copyright even if the person that made the graphics gives it to him there can still be problems about whose the original creator of the graphic being used.

i think another reason is: if someone's idea gets put in they're will be alot of complaints about whose idea it was and people saying it's theirs and all

but, you should still be able to Suggest them but, then this -> :/ . . .

This topic holds the borderline truth, and every non-newb has known it for a long time, regardless of any lies he feeds himself.

I can't believe Chris actually has the, er, chops to say that he doesn't accept community suggestions. ALMOST EVERYTHING WAS SUGGESTED BY US, AT SOME POINT! Chat, the bird smiley, several other smileys, backgrounds, portals, spawnpoints, friendlists (officially in the works?), the idea to have contests, the Halloween Contest, locked worlds, saved worlds, etc.

In order for something to be legal, it needs to be legal. Amiright? I don't think anybody actually filed for a patent before suggesting new graphics for the game, and, therefore, nobody created a copyright issue. Derp derp.

My knowledge of copyright and artwork might be limited, but as far as I am aware, artwork is automatically copyrighted upon creation, untill   specifically stated otherwise.

In this forum's Graphical Suggestion sub-forum, most topics do not have a disclaimer saying: "Any- and everyone are free to use this work for commercial purposes" - or anything similar, thus, the artwork would still be copyrighted.

I can't find the original source for my claims, as it has been a while - but here's another one:

I doubt this is the reason that Chris does not want to use user-created content, though, as he would only need to ask, to gain permission to use the sprites.

If chris supposedly doesn't take community ideas, then why make the graphics/game suggestions.
Also if chris doesn't take ideas from us players, that must suck for all the people creating graphics.
