[Slight misunderstanding from thugishprune, Chris doesn't take suggestions from the community, RPGM2K and Cyclone filter through suggestions and then pass onto Chris. Anyway I thought Chris was making it so RPGM2K could make his own updates.]

^ This, pretty much. Don't worry, guys. Almost every time Chris asks me for ideas/graphics for a new update, I come here to get inspiration. I also don't take credit for it, I tend to use the prefix "The players want/say..." for any good ideas that I find.

You know, for such a hobby of a game, Chris is taking the damn thing more seriously than a company developer.

Regardless, at least we know you guys are alive and working behind the scenes to make E.E. a better game.

Not many others understand this, but at least you are trying. And even if the end result is a failure, the only thing that matters is that you summoned up the courage to attempt.

This new update (that one that show mine on the lobby) is the start for the friend list.

when you add a friend, it will show his name (I think so) on their level on lobby, like when its our.

there WILL be a friends list multiple people have asked rpg and he said yes! and i KNOW rpg is the nicest mod so he wouldn't LIE to us...

Joy - Here we have an example of highly misconstrued information. Here's what Chris really claimed:

He shall NEVER visit the forums.

Chris stated that these are "fan forums" and not for him. He visits the forums when he is linked specifically to a thread he may be interested in but he will never post and never browse the forums casually.

No sci-fi pack. (Unconfirmed)

I have no evidence of this whatsoever.

Adding Chocolate Rainbow Pony NPCs dressed as nyan cat.

He was joking around with the people in the level suggesting these things. I doubt this will happen.

No friends list.

Here's the biggest error. Someone asked if the new command was "PM friends" and Chris said that "There is no friend system". This doesn't mean there will be no friends list in future.

No community ideas.

Another thing you're blowing out of proportion. Chris stated he only takes suggestions/ideas from his admins/mods. Those admins/mods (primarily RPGMaster2000 and Cyclone) filter through the suggestions made on the forums and suggest some to Chris. There's nothing wrong with continuing to suggest things. Chris stated that for legal reasons he can't "accept" suggestions from ingame. This basically means he can never give credit to anyone for anything added into the game, whether it was suggested by the community or not.

No Decoration changes.

Partially true. There will be future decorations. They will not get colours back, but Chris will be releasing backgrounds with close colour equivalents in future.

More octaves!

He never confirmed this but said it may happen. Right now, the focus seems to be possibly creating volume control and chord possibilities, but nothing is confirmed. In the meantime, RPGMaster2000 is working on the drumset, but we don't know what format they will take.

Well...

I'll be honest, at this point, Chris is just trying to hide some inevitable, and hurtful things about E.E., he may have been keeping some of them locked up since Platform Sandbox, but whatever the case, some of these "secrets" are the ones he's taking to his grave.

He doesn't want to hurt the community, but he doesn't realize he's hurting us even more if he doesn't let out everything.

This is a POV BTW, so if you don't like it, don't get ragey on it for no damn reason, this is a topic, we're SUPPOSED to share our point of view.

Nah, This is a topic from the discussion with chris.

Alot of it is unconfirmed but it might prepare people for future changes.
