Is it just me, or have E.E.Bots became a fad?

Every two days, I see another person asking (On the forums or in game) How get bot, or how make bot, etc.

I am getting sick and tired of people wanting bots, it's tedious, it's overhyped, it needs to stop.

Not much else to say on the topic, but yeah... About it.

And so far I haven't seen any bot actually being useful (except for the Shift one of course). It's just people using useless chat commands. So yes, definitely an annoying fad.

Yea... I make bot to learn programming better too.

But sometimes its extremely anoying, everyday I get asked to make one or show how >.>

P.S. If anyone pms me about bots they will simply be deleted and ignored (unless your someone "famous" or nice maybe ill reply, but rarely)

Funnily, .reset doesn't even save you any keystrokes, just like .kick and .ban (which doesn't even work without kick)

Although I might need to make an easykicker macro (yes, I still use "macros", which are getting so advanced that they aren't). Its too hard to repeatedly type a 50 word long ban message

MACROS will NEVER be advanced, they can barley even see messages ingame and such, You cant tell when a player comes in or when they chat a certain message

You know that the commands is used by others, and not me?
The commands can be used by the groups moderators and administrators.

the .ban is almost useless (can be done easily in wpe if you wanted to)
the .follow is creative, but useless.

These kind of bots that only feature those commands are useless.
Macro tools for EE, yeah. Very stupid way of doing something. Point-And-Click Macros shouldn't be used with EE, with other programs, that's fine, but with EE? That's moronic.

Hahah. Bots are just a way for someone to make something look fancy.

the .ban is almost useless (can be done easily in wpe if you wanted to)
the .follow is creative, but useless.

These type of command bots are useful for crews. Gives members powers when the owner goes AFK.

I don't think you can copy+paste a 20 character long message with line feeds.
Even if you think that kick, reset and ban is useless. It's other out there, that would give me money for even have such a commands.
It's not like I use them for my self. It's good for people that have a crew/a lot of friends when someone goes afk.
I can accept that .follow is useless, so is .clean. But I just added them there. And see no reason to remove it.

You need to setup a lot with wpe. You need to set the packets for each room.
In WPE do you need to listen 24/7 and it just give a lot of crap you don't want to listen on. Even if you filter it.
And if you are coding a bot, its going much faster than using WPE. The bad about WPE is that you can't listen and send.
With a bot can you listen and send away. Same if you use detours.
Much easier to create a bot. At least can you use two groups of access. Can you do that in your favorite tool WPE?
