Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I'm kinda sad theres no Christmas competition, and I kinda doubt theres going to be one at this point. I was all prepared and everything :/ Anyways, fingers are still crossed.
1) Your title is the best one so far.
2) IF there is going to be a contest, don't let Chris and his friends judge.
Maybe there will be some new things in the middle of the contest. Maybe new backgrounds or bricks.

New year contest is the best so far cuz that contest the community judged.
I think it's a little too early for another contest, we just finished up the last one.
Why do we have contests it just picks out the nooby people and give the people that are naturally good at this game prizes. Isn't that un-fair?
There is 0% chance of one, it has been said by Chris and RPG
I hate contests.

just cus you have 0 change of winning one
nah they do get annoying with 200 people joining the forum and flooding it
also noobs that have no chance signing up so theres no space left

yes
I do enjoy the immenseness of the contests. The Halloween contest over run hugely due to the update halfway through and the laziness of Chris's judging 'friends'. I couldn't care less if there was or wasn't a Christmas contest, to me it doesn't make a difference, but I just wish that if there is (and also for upcoming contest's) Chris will learn from all the mistakes he made in the Halloween one.
I think it could also be said that there could be a new type of prize next time, instead of smiley's and block's (though this is irrelevant) If there was to be a contest posted now it would be way to late and we are talking about getting results in mid/end of January. Not worth it. This is all + I understand we have had confirmation from RPGMaster2000 and Chris, That there Won't Be one.

Too cliche. I'd rather have a more versatile contest like Sci-fi or Historical.
Christmas is one day out of 365; my imagination only goes so far. Same for Halloween, New Years and Easter. In all three of the contests I've participated in, coming up with an idea has been close to impossible simply because holidays are strict in themes. Sci-fi and historical themed? Really vague and provides and immense range of level possibilities.
And if the prize is something specifically themed to the contest, I'd rather he just skip it. I'm getting a little sick of missing out on once-in-a-lifetime opportunities simply because of my skill level. Ie prizes that can't be won again; like the Easter smiley, Bird smiley and Halloween smileys. I'd rather he just give away trophies or something else generic. That way when people lose they don't feel like they got an arm chopped off.
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

Yea, the same prizes should be rewarded for every contests, Rather than once in a lifetime opportunities. Or at least something not so "exclusive". Like a bronze, silver, and gold trophy, or energy or something.
I also think a christmas contest would be a great idea, but they just finished the halloween one so . If they did contest closer together, like every other month, then people wouldn't be so upset for losing, because they can just try again in a few weeks, rather than 4 or 5 months. But that does cause a lot of understandable stress for RPG and the judges. I think they should just change the entire contest "system".
The other problem is the same people win (almost) every contest. There should be a rule you can only win once a year or something.

Yeah, with Bee out there none of us stand a chance.
I like Takos idea of a historical/Sci-Fi themed contest, the possibilities are endless. It would also be more fun to look at the entries because of the wide range of ideas. If possible, I think the EE community would enjoy a very general themed contest every month or two.
We don't need more contests, especially after that last one.

and i remember something about rpgmaster2000 saying it will be a theme chosen contest

Even though I know there will be, I sincerely hope there will never be another contest. It was so stressful, and for what? Two little clumps of pixels? You can take them back, Chris.

Sure, except that it was extremely troll-able and all...
