However, I wonder why is so much fuss around him in the forums. None of the other moderators received so many hate letters.
And so comes the questions:

Doesn't Koya have the ability to make players understand why they got banned for?
Doesn't he have the capability to calm them down?
What makes his actions so different beside other moderators?
What if not Koya is the problem but other moderators don't to their "job"?

Apparently they just want Koya to be demoted. But the topic is about why they are so against him. From what I've seen the fault is theirs for breaking the rules. Though I never saw so much hate toward any other moderator so thats why Im wondering what might be wrong.

As far as I know, moderators aren't directly in charge of giving ban periods. There is a system which calculates that. I might be wrong, however. Therefor it won't Koya's fault.

I can't agree on the demode, because they received a ban for something. if they say "It's not me", then they should read Zoey's IGotBanned topic.

It's like Robbers and Police, there is a camera watching them stealing money from a bank, they will be punished.
Translated to EE: It's like Rulebreaker and Moderator, there is saved a message from the chat log, they break rules, they will be punished.

That's also because Koya became moderator, people started reporting more, because they knew earlier, why will i report someone if he will not be banned. Koya became mod, and people report, because they know that Koya is here.

Kids got mad, because they have been banned, just like any other game. I don't think that Koya would ban anyone with no reason and staff won't take care of it.

So in your opinion, you believe that the other moderators are more lenient? And because of that people didn't even mind reporting?

People got banned before Koya as well. But I never saw as much topics about that as I seen for Koya's decisions.

If the community is good, the game is also great, without taking care of mods, but with a bad community splitted into aristokration mods, and "normal people", all start causing drama.

Notcarksss has a banned forum acount, as long as i remember. Why are you posting this topic for him? Requested for lock, because topic does not have a real "reason" to demod koya.

I did not post this topic for Notcarksss. Notcarksss quote was placed for exemplification only. This topic purpose is not for demoting Koya. This topic is about asking opinions about why Koya gets more attention than the other moderators.

1) He is a relatively new mod, people will flock to new mods and ask questions and stuff, especially if they don't use the forums or read the blog.
2) He enforces every rule by what it stands for. Swearing: if a player can see it when they have filters on, it breaks the filter
3) He has been here for a long time - a lot of people know who he is before he was mod

I wouldn't say it's the others not doing their job, but Koya being more active than the others. I experienced this myself, as a moderator. The other moderators were usually busy, but I had a lot of free time to spend on EE. That meant I handled more problems, and issued more bans.

Agreed. I really like how koya is and also he isn't the only one added as staff. You guys also forget about Lrrussell. Also if you guys were to take the rules seriously then your booty won't be banned.

If you have an issue with your ban you can contact me or any of the other mods (not admins) and we will explain why you were banned.

People will complain if they are banned whether they know it or not, it's not necessarily the user's fault for complaining - a ban can mean that all contact with friends is lost for time and projects cannot be finished. The most common rule broken is swear filter evasion, if you don't break that then a lot of the bans will stop.

I thought it was neat for a while but actually being in this position in a game I've been playing for almost 6 years is a duty I will fulfil, my vanity is way less important than my position so calling me out with no evidence does nothing against me (if you have evidence against a decision I have made I would like to see it and add/Bcc/Ccc other mods into the discussion too.

I don't really see a reason to ban known people in the game. When Nou only removes them because they need more chances.
It feels like the only ban reason right now is to go around the swear filter.

Its not the mods fault for banning people. Its the people who report. Few have clear evidence, others just hate someone so they report them. With koya there is no warning just a small ban. Accidentally type a bad word incorrectly and your banned for a day. Get reported by 3 people who hate you, banned for 3 days. Say a abbreviation and people take it the wrong way, banned for a day.
You can even get banned if you say "i'm going to kill you" because there is a curse, zombie, someone with edit places spikes on you, someone types /kill.
