Master1’s resignation as a moderator

Over the past few months there have been complaints about M1’s functioning as a mod. After having discussed this with him on several occasions –which he took seriously- but unfortunately seeing little improvement, I regret to say that we decided it’s best he steps down as a moderator.

He has worked hard to deal with the endless supply of incoming reports and contributed to the design of campaigns. He’s a great guy and deserves the best, but unfortunately, his personality does not match the requirements of being a moderator.

I’d like to thank M1 for all his hard work, and I’d like to ask you, the community, not to give him a hard time for stepping down, so he can remain part of the community.

For those wondering, yes there will be new moderators, which will be announced in the near future.

but yeah idk. i'm glad this wasn't as dramatic as say, Jawapa's demodding. and I really do appreciate the work M1 DID do when he actually did things, and his work on campaigns. he's a cool guy and i don't hate him.

As I've mentioned before, Master1's idea of how the rules work contradict them. Considering that Benje00 seems to agree with him on quite a bit his ideas from what I know, some changing in the rules will probably be needed.

Well this is a surprising thing to have happened so suddenly imo, but the community apparently thinks otherwise.

My take on the situation:
------Well I think that it was best that M1 stepped down as a moderator, but not as soon as it happened. I think it would have been best to announce M1's departure before he left so everyone knew what was going to happen "in the future".

What mods do I look forward to?:
------I am prepared for the next batch of moderators, hopefully they will be 17+, mature, and has lots of experience with interacting with other players, also preferably 3+years of playing.

If I were in a position to do so, I would totally love to reapply to help out again. Perhaps at a later date if things happen to line up. Good luck to whoever is added to the team!
