EETC is a virus? as of 8/6/16

So I was thinking of downloading EETC (Everybody Edits Troll Catcher) by GOEYFUN on the website: eetrollcatcher.weebly.com

Then my anti-virus detected it as a virus. (The anti-virus has very good virus definitions)

Please provide a link to where you downloaded it at, I'm sure capasha, hummerz, xfrogman43, Hexagon, I, or any other good bot programmer can decompile the file and check if it has anything bad in it.

It's false positive. I have decompiled it and also made it to sourcecode.
goey talked to me, and said he had problems with false positives.

His bot isn't even updated to newest EE versions.

I had decompiled it in the past, and noticed you include functions GetPrivateIpAddress() and GetPublicIpAddress().
This could be the reason why, although it's hard to determine whether your packer is malware in any way - intentionally or unintentionally.

As per usual, I would highly recommend people to use sandboxes (seriously, check out Sandboxie - Anti-Virus solutions are a fragment of the past.)
