Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

;_; Good old times... they are now gone... i remember when i was just playing in open worlds and i remember the first boss in the history of EE... do you remember when the beta smileys came out? the donate button? donate to get blue coins? the start of accounts and of chat? yea,i remember.
:')
lol... i used to think that ninjas were a smiley that had three dots on it... xD

I used to think it was some sort of alien spacecraft. lol.
I from the future just landed in the backyard in my tardis. I'm gonna go watch me be a noob trying to beat every stair level in the history of EE.
I remember those days. When buying secret bricks was exciting. When the postman was the supposed ticket to everything. I remember the first time I played EE. I went on an all editing world. It was a wreck, and I just went up and down, and drew a couple of blocks and erased others at times. It was the best!
Haha, made my day, guts. Made my day.
Yeah, I remember I made a Mario Level with Polis, minis in boxes and ugly art, but we were proud, great times!
Maybe we have to make an action where everybody goes to the old time, one week. Maybe then we can get '' that feeling'' back for at least a week.
Yea..When I started it was funny to play Every level...but now nah"I am a little bored of ee....I think my end is soon..
I am still a nub, and trying to stay this way for awhile so I can enjoy EE. But from what I'm getting from this is that old EE is like childhood. While your a nub you always want to be a pro, but when you're a pro you want to get that feeling of being a nub again. Being a nub has its privileges I guess.:)
EDIT: You just received nub achievement #5 "300 Posts"! Congratulations you nub!

I will try to stay on EE, but I don't think I will completely leave EE forever.

I second that.

Damn... Had a realy long post thought up in my head and I forgot it. Oh well, I'll take a stab at this anyhow!
I remember Everybody Edits 0.5, or somewhere around then. Right after platform sandbox was made, and EE was only on nonoba. Now EE is featured on countless flash gaming sites including nonoba (it's home town of sorts), Kongregate, Facebook, Newgrounds, and not to mention it's own two websites for beta and regular players.
Now I think EE is going down the drain due to obvious reasons. Having the game featured on so many different websites can attract some of the bad crowd of the web, like /b/ anons, FunnyJunk trolls.
And due to this bad crowed a lot of the original fanbase has left, and the lobby is getting fuller of "nub" levels...
Though there are still legionnaires, of sorts, who have played EE since it's infancy on nonoba, and most of them are the people we see making "pro" levels today.
Quite frankly I'm no better than any other average player, I make moderate art, am skilled in making minis, I know how to upload levels, etc. But I often find myself the target of 'haters' and 'trolls' who get off on putting people down.
And be that cause or contribution to the matter, I don't even bother making much more than a boss, or helping build other peoples levels. Luckily I don't let this hate get to me, I (try to) maintain a healthy diet of other gaming, and internet usage.
Though, I do miss that feeling I used to get when playing so long ago. I think my fondest memory is of when I saved up to buy beta, back when you had to log on with Facebook.
Dont you miss that ol' feeling when you first joined ee.
Nothing counted as "pro" to you.
You could play stairs and all that crap.
Later on, you relize there boring.
Now a lot of levels seem boring..
I wish i had that feeling again, make me feel more free.
No one telling you if your art is nooby.
Or even play open worlds, where everyone edits!
Ahhh, dat was da life ^_^.
So very true but EE is having great things coming out and im excited about friend list.
and mabye music like a guitar!
Completely agreed.
I still do play Open Worlds, they bring back that feeling.
