Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

So we have the program EverybodyEdits.exe which is made to load the latest version of the game. But users like me don't use Windows. We use Unix-based operative systems like Mac OS or the Linux Distributions (Ubuntu, Fedora, Redhat, etc), and for us to run the executable file, we need to install extra software which we just don't want to get just to run a simple game. I've had a very bad experience with Wine before.
Therefore, I decided to make instead, a SWF that automatically loads the latest version of the game.
It's a simple, 3kB SWF with a simple script that gets the latest client from the mirrors, and plays it on a single frame.
A small solution to a big problem.

Or you can use http://r.playerio.com/r/everybody-edits … eegame.swf which is faster and loads the latest version anyway.
Thank you eleizibeth ^
I stack my signatures rather than delete them so I don't lose them

What about those who want to download the client?
They will not download the client each time it gets updated. That mirror just checks for the latest version and loads it, but the SWF itself won't load the latest version. My SWF is made for that, to load it so users can download it and use it normally, and automatically load the latest version whenever the client is updated.
