Chris's big promise

Chris has said we should expect lots of big updates this year. If anyone has any ideas please post them below.

I hope that one of the updates will be a police set. It would include a police smiley, a robber smiley, jail bricks, police bricks and random police/robber-based decorations or backgrounds (a red and yellow light for the floor, or a police dog).

Obviously, many of the updates will be a bug or graphics quality update, so please don't post that.

ooh water these sound good I think bricks that do something like move or can be broken with repeated hits, we need more blocks that do something!

Not sure if telling the truth or just guessing.
And more backgrounds of course. Remeber Bee and other guys asked chris to make background to replace the minimap colors lost by the decoration updates.

And friend system was asked last year (lol).

He is always saying that he will focus on new features, or have a huge update, but it never really happens. And when it does happen, most people here find something to complain about.

Ok, I have heard some news.

1: Science Pack. RPGMaster2000 said that they are holding that off for when they have a drought in updates.
2. Text. Chris said it won't be released (probably for ever) or until they could find a safe way to give it to users without too much abuse.
3. Chris said he is working on new physics, so ice brick is possible.
4. New smilies and/or bricks. It's probably going to be that.

We all know Chris doesn't keep promises. Stop expecting things so you won't be disappointed. As pessimistic as it is, it's a nice coping mechanism.

In case you haven't noticed, we have basically had a drought in updates since last easter.
