Saving not working?

Okay one of my friends is having an issue with his RPG world http://everybodyedits.com/games/PWflwBYvgdcEI
Whenever he tries to save the world keeps saving for all eternity(and yes tried waiting) the only option left is to refresh the page. when it loads it turns out that it hasn't saved but instead has reverted to the save before this one

He try's to save the world it keeps saving for a long time(as in never saves) he has to refresh.when he goes back in the world its returned to as it was when he last saved(many days ago)

I saw some other people saying so as well but saw no threads. Also it takes a lot of tries to connect into the world(most worlds actually) and often it just gets stuck there for more than half and hour perhaps this is co related? or is this all because of player io?
