Approved Everybody Edits Fansites:

PLEASE NOTE: An approved fansite does NOT mean that you are an OFFICIAL fansite. These are TWO separate things.

Want to approve your fansite?
For an application to be approved, an approved staff member must review your fansite.
Your application will be checked against this template, which will be posted in your application.

- Fansite approved (all five tests passed)?   YES/NO
Once your fansite has been approved, it will be added to the Approved Fansite Directory found at this page.

Important Notes
- Do not post more than one application at a time. If your application failed, you may re-apply once you have fixed the problems.
- You may ONLY advertise your fansite once your application has been added to the approved fansite directory. If you advertise an unapproved fansite, you will be treated like any other user who advertises a website (banned).

Before you can start advertising your fansite on Everybody Edits - you must seek approval of your website to ensure that it meets the requirements.

Your application will have a decision made usually within 24 hours.

The requirements for your fansite are simple and short:

- Not allowed to have your own forum - you must link to ee.forumify.com if you wish to offer a forum.
- Must include link to Everybody Edits and Beta Everybody Edits and you must not have any login boxes present on your website (this is to prevent phishing).
- You are allowed to hire staff for your fansite, run news, have reporters, run events - all that other fun stuff fansites are great for. However, you agree that you will not break any of these rules after your site is approved. If we find that a rule has been broken after approval, your account will be suspended and website removed from the approved fansite list.

It is strongly recommended that you read the FAQ - found here - before you apply.
To request an approval for your fansite, please copy the following template into a comment below, fill it in with the details, and post it.

- Try to make it as easy to read, and concise as possible - it will make the process quick and painless.
- All decisions made by the staff are final, unless over-ridden by a member of senior management.
- Only post ONE thread for your fansite at a time. If your application was denied, you are allowed to fix these errors and re-apply.

If your fansite does not adhere to all of the requirements listed in this thread, or the application does not use the correct format, it will be denied.

FAQ
How do I get my fansite approved?
Simply post a request by following the details laid out in this thread. However, you must remember not to advertise your website anywhere on EE until it has been approved. You could be banned, and you will be treated like any other website that is being advertised!

What can I not have on my fansite?
You are allowed to run news, hire reporters, staff, run events, competitions - all the fun stuff that fansites are known for. However, we ask that you follow three simple rules.
- Do not have your own forum. If you wish to offer a forum, please include a link to ee.forumify.com
- You must not have any login fields or forms anywhere on the website. Please link directly to EE instead - this is to prevent phishing.

If your fansite breaks any of these rules, it will be denied.

Can I include a forum once it has been approved?
No! We check approved fansites often to ensure that it continues to meet the criteria listed above. If your fansite breaks these rules, your account might be suspended and removed from the approved fansite list - until the issues are fixed.

Why do you need my contact email address?
We require your email address to contact you in the event of an issue with your fansite.

How do I report a fansite that is breaking the rules?
Please contact a staff member immediately if you see an approved fansite breaking one of the rules listed above, or if you see somebody advertising an unapproved fansite.

What happens if I advertise my unapproved fansite?
Usually, staff will issue a warning and tell you to apply for approval on the forum. If you continue to advertise it, or advertise a suspended or denied application, you will could banned.

Do you have graphics or code that I can use on my fansite?
No, we are planning on getting some good pictures for you to use as template pictures.

Can I ask a staff member to help me fix technical issues?
No! We will not help you with your fansite - it is completely up to you.

My fansite has gone offline for some reason - will it be removed from the list?
Offline or inactive fansites will be removed from the approved list. You will receive an email if this happens, and you will no longer be able to advertise it on EE.

I'm shutting down my fansite, what do I do?
Please notify a staff member so we can remove it from the approved fansite list.

Clearly i know that but what i mean is that people are able to show how much they love ee in a fashionably neat way by making a fan page for the game so like this everyone has something original to show for.

I got no idea why should I post my fan site here if I could just make a new post of it or whatsoever? I don't want someone to make rules to my fan site whom doesn't even have any superiority to me either way. Besides, I don't want to have this Hotel thing on my site lawl.
