Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Favourite type of room?

What's your favourite type of room? Platformers, Bosses, Art places or Time Wasters (Roller Coasters, Hotels, etc.)?

Mine is art places. There's much more challenge in creating art; You have to figure out which colours fit best in a certain place, how big stuff should be, etc.

Themed minigames - A minigame level that is integrated into a central theme like my Red Dawn level.   They require a bit of artistic expertise and a keen eye for unique challenges.

Platformers, preferably with a landscape.

Scene Platformers. I day at the beach, the trip to hell, or "choice scenes".

You know, platformers that walk you through like the jungle or something. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile

Re: Favourite type of room?

I also love scene platformers. A level I've been trying to make but keep failing at due to the room getting booted is a big explorable world for players to go through. There are a few coins to get to encourage exploration, and there multiple paths/etc, along with an eventual ending point

All I have left of the first draft of it is a screenshot of the minimap as I was working on it:

Mine isn't really anything exciting (later drafts had much better art, I'll say that, too), but that's the sort of thing I'd like to see a lot more of. People creating worlds, not sets of rooms.

worlds as opposed to rooms would be much more interesting.

Re: Favourite type of room?

I prefer platformers as well. Ones with scenery the most. But creating a theme for an Everybody Edits level is tough due to lack of artistic tools.

Re: Favourite type of room?

Is "Anything but minigame levels" a good answer? //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue

It takes some VERY original minigames to make me play through one of those levels.

I honestly think my favorite at this point is boss levels. They just have such a fun feeling of competition when you have a competent boss. Very close second would be the "scene platformers" described above. They're not first just because I've only played one or two excellent ones. I wish people were more creative.
