Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

This survey is intended to help improve public bots, and make bot makers customize their bot to your liking.
If you'd take a few minutes out of your time to take this, it'd be helpful to all of us bot makers attempting to make a bot that the community likes.
Survey: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1cOE6iB … g/viewform
If anybody knows how to make results so everybody can see them, please do say so. It'd be nice to have these results visible for botmakers. EDIT: Fixed

(meta) I'm really curious to find out if a mod is going to boot this to the less-popular Bots & Prog simply because "Bots" or if they'll let it slide because this might actually get traffic...
For some reason, I always get the idea that things in the bot community would be smoother if we had more than one person having their foray into one area ( as opposed to a group consensus ), but maybe our community is too small or I'm making my own hypocritical foray.
edit: decided to read the survey. You're asking "what trite features do you like" right?
just summing things up

From what I can understand, this is about...well...bots, so it probably belongs there. I guess its more of a general problem if people dont check out the forum.

It's all to attempt at looking at the results, and make decisions about those, and decided what to do first, then if you wanted to you could somehow incorperate the most sucessfull bot ideas into yours, and most rquested features, and then players would suggest unique original ideas, and maybe, just maybe all of that information will help botmakers in general, hopefully.
Obviously I havn't asked enough questions, but the written questions probebly supply the best information.
Take a look: " Bots that can make building really easy. Ex. Clone Structures, Generate Terrain, Detail Maker, Etc. " " Live world editing, undo/redo for world editing per every player " " Can remember world data (switches pressed, coins collected, etc) across worlds or even just in general for that world. "
It's some helpful stuff.

You don't really need a massive software suite to make bots. If you have the .NET framework and PlayerIOClient.dll, you have everything you need to make a bot in a relatively short amount of time.

What I mean is learning a language, Downloading VS (For some people they download a less-intensive thing), and then programming it.
Then you can have a little bot tool that allows you to easy-as-pie make a bot & share.
Plus, what about the macs, linuxes, and other OSes?

Plus, waht about the macs, linuxes, and other OSes?
I wrote and compiled and tested my midi bot on Linux without touching Visual Studio once.

The problem with this is the fact that whatever bot creation tool that gets made will be horribly limited if you aren't allowed to write code in it. The closest that you can get to something that makes developing bots super easy without compromising flexibility is BotBits (which is really easy to use; honest!)
