Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Augh, too many. I'm doing my GCSEs from May to end of June. That's the cores, as well as graphic design, computer science, German, and geography. My first one is an algebra level 3 paper on May 10th.

Wow https://wiki.everybodyedits.com/images/c/c0/069_LOL

Yeah I sat my GCSE's last year, got like 2 A*, 5 A's & 3 B's, so pretty bad. https://wiki.everybodyedits.com/images/c/c0/069_LOL

But if you need help with English Language or Literature, I'd be more than willing to help you //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile

Re: All Exam Talk Here!!

AP Physics 1&2, algebra based. 3 hour test on Tuesday for mechanics, and then another 3 hours on Wednesday for E&M. After that the rest of the school year will be a breeze, since most of my work this year is physics.

What level is that at?

Like what qualification do you get from it?

Re: All Exam Talk Here!!

Well, they just recently changed the way testing works for sophomores and under.

But for me... OGT, ACT, PARQUE, and uh... something else.

Then end of the year exams for 6 of my classes.

Haha.

So what sort of level is the algebra?

Like the hardest thing I think I did at GCSE was manipulating sine, cosine and some other form of graph.

I remember quadratic equations and surds, rationalizing the denominator I think...

sin and cos is alright in geometry. When you start using in calculus... well...

IIRC to qualify to sign up for it you just needed to get a decent grade in Algebra II, so not too strict. Chemistry was also recommended but not required. Really all you need is a basic understanding of algebra and trig.

Sine and cosine are literally the easiest things in calculus though.

I've got Physics II, Chemistry II, Programming Concepts (ezpz), and Nature and Human Values (ethics, essentially) exams all the week of May 7th.

Hated simultaneous equations, especially algebraic ones

Edit: At-least my exams are only in May

This is the easiest unit we've had all year, and I still can't pull my grade up to a B.

Sophomores are being forced to take the ACT next year. And they will have certain tests they will have to take, and pass, in order to pass the class. I guess you could do fairly well all year in a class, but if you fail the state test, you fail the class anyway.

How do you test over ethics?

Is it more defining people by mental characteristics?

Oh, pre-calculus. If you're doing proofs involving trig... Then yes, I feel sorry for your soul. I had trouble with that too. That's not calculus though. That's algebra. Algebra with trig can always become quite a mess; actual calculus with trig is usually pretty easy.

Haha https://wiki.everybodyedits.com/images/c/c0/069_LOL

I'm trying to think of the one thing that I really hated in algebra...

Oh yeah, I hated trigonometry with a passion

Basic trig is easy too! https://wiki.everybodyedits.com/images/c/c0/069_LOL Just SOHCAHTOA then you manipulate sides of triangle into equation then do some other magical step...

But I couldn't understand it for ages, thankfully I got it in the end.

What stuff you have to do for Geometry?

Find area of 3d shapes and find out the formulas for them. We aren't going so into it since teacher wants us to finish algebra first.

Finished high school last year, it's been really boring since. Most of the time, I'm too lazy to go outside unless someone calls or something. I really need to find a job..

Re: All Exam Talk Here!!

Speech Exam and I hate giving speeches. Web Development project which takes place as an exam. Accounting Exam... accounting sounds like a very boring job it seems but there's a small bit of useful information there. Operating Systems Interface Exam which is probably gon' be alot about commands lines and schtuff.
