Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

EE Social Version Competition

If you are a great programmer, then here is your chance! This is a contest to make a totally new form of Everybody Edits!
/!\ You must be a programmer to enter this contest! /!\
Your Everybody Edits version must have the following qualities
? judgeable! Your everybody edits Remake must be playable within Firefox 4.0.1, Internet Explorer 9, and Google Chrome Eleven.
? Playable! It doesn't have to have all the fancy smileys or bricks, but It needs to have arrows, at least 2 bricks, Gravity dots, coins, and enough things to make it playable.
? Chat! This is what makes it EE Social! Everybody must have chat, and It has to be safe. I have a swear-bot (long story) Ready to test, and your version must be able to withstand it! Not only it has to protect against cuss, but also against cu.ss, (U$$ and things like that.
Bonus! These things will earn more points with the judges!
? Extra Physics Features not in the standard Everybody Edits
? Go through the Suggestions Forum and add some of those as well!

Have fun creating your own version of EE!

Prizes: Featured on my website, put in a good word with RPGMaster about your safe-chat, lots of Rep, and I will make you a Sig or Avatar of your choice.

Deadline: July. That gives you six months, leaving you with time to kill.

Why do everyone want new versions of Everybody Edits, remakes, bots and other useless things? Can't you just play EE as it is?

Hmmm... Can I be a judge, although I don't see this contest catching on and I find it absolutly pointless.

I'll just put this here...

It's a mostly functional EE ripoff I wrote a while ago. It supports multiplayer, chat, and gravity arrows.

No. Anyone who puts a "mature block pack" in will be disqualified

Oh, and It has to be embedded in a browser.

Actually now   that I think of it, we could probably use NaCl/SDL. The only downside is that only Chrome can play NaCl apps.

Re: EE Social Version Competition

NaCl is the shorthand for "Native Client," a plugin for Chrome that allows you to run sand boxed native code embedded in to the browser. The API for it is called "Pepper," an obvious play on terms. Basically, you can run your C++ apps embedded with NaCl.

Re: EE Social Version Competition

I think a "mature block pack" would be good. why? Because they can't do it for anyone, only adults, therefore it would show there proggramming talent.
